hi guys has any one had a look at Matt Precey,s twitter page if you scroll down you can see court papers for this case and how it got to this stage just go to july 9th NBC V CADOZAS drop box link in particular look at document 9 which gives a break down of events by the way CDNL never got the land as council got the jitters and never signed 106 agreement so as far as i see it the council still hold all the land apart from the stadium development these  should dispel a lot of rumors and allegations against kt

I haven't read the documents you refer to, but a section 106 agreement has no relevance to who owns the lease.

Absolutely. It is something which has baffled me for years. These people are operating via loopholes that should have been closed decades ago. It really pisses me off. If someone was claiming benefits yet dragging in 50-quid a week cash in hand, they'd get threatened with jail time. And yet there are many people working the same scams as these scumbags, but the system is forever there to be played.
Probably because there are a whole lot of crooks operating near the top of the tree.

And what comeback do those that have lost their fortune to these conmen have?
There must be a lot of organisations, similar to NBC who have lost an awful lot of money to these sort of criminals.
The money the conmen 'earn' comes from somewhere and then disappears time and time again, to where?

Can't believe that 'Team Grossman' are not being hauled before some sort of judiciary over this, whilst the Cardoza 'stooges' are carrying the can?

And the thing is these same sort of shenanigans have been operated for years. There are people who have willfully folded hundreds of companies, causing untold financial hardship to others, only then to have another business running within weeks. It's a disgrace.

Tell me about it, there are Phoenix companies everywhere. We had a company in the UK go bust owing us 40k. The owners started a new company with a slightly different name the next day, brought all the assets and we couldn’t touch them. The government takes the view that the new company will employ many if not all the old staff and will be paying tax immediately, so good news as far as they are concerned. As for the creditors like us? The wankers in Westminster couldnt give a fck. As long as we are paying over 70% tax (50% personal + 21% corporation) they don’t give 2 sh1ts. Welcome to the realities of running a business in the UK, it has fck all to do with morality, just in case you didn’t know? I am afraid the distribution of wealth is rarely based on merit.

There's another fairly decent twitter account to follow for brief updates on the court proceedings, recommended by Matt Precey as he suggested it as he twittered that he was struggling at times to cover all the details as it moves so quick.

https://twitter.com/Paul_theChron

Obviously Matt's link for those that haven't seen it

But I read it that they would have taken on the loan debt too.

KT got the loan debt wiped from the club before his takeover.

Pretty sure that was £20m  Tongue  Ravi Rach is a dodgy character anyway.  We wouldn't have wanted him anywhere near the club really.

Northampton Town Football Club are delighted that planning permission was granted on Tuesday evening by Northampton Borough Council for the club's conference centre and a 100 bed hotel as well as giving the go ahead to 255 homes and a small number of retail units on land surrounding Sixfields Stadium.

"David Mackintosh and all at Northampton Borough Council have been very supportive of the club throughout this process and we are pleased to welcome the granting of planning permission," said Chairman David Cardoza.

"This is an important part of the process that will allow the club to move forward and progress by improving the facilities at the stadium.

"We are putting foundations in place now to ensure a bright and successful future for Northampton Town and we have a Borough Council who recognise the value the club brings to the town.

"The hotel and conference centre are crucial because they give the club income streams outside of the ups and downs of football and that is vital to the progression of the club."

Councillor David Mackintosh, Leader of Northampton Borough Council said: “I am pleased to see the plans have been approved, as the redevelopment of Sixfields Stadium is essential to the club. Modernising the ground to bring in more corporate and commercial facilities will help ensure the Football Club can maximise revenue and operate as a business all year round. This additional funding can only help provide a sound financial base for the club to work from.”

A well established project management and quantity surveying practice in Northampton with a wealth of sports stadia experience offered their services to the football club on numerous occasions.

Cardoza's said they used Grossman because they had no planning/construction experience.

There was an alternative on their door step.

They chose Grossman because they needed a dodgy developer to help them pay back their director's loan.

I have a horrible feeling they will get away with this based on being bullied and coming across people a bit smarter than them.

Why are the council only chasing £2.05 million?  What about the remainder of the £13 million?

Because this is the money they can trace back to the Cardozas....the Cardozas claim it is coincidental with regards to the timing of money flowing to them.
The rest of the money seems to be lost in the ether....

Only trying to get the £2m as this was what the Cardoza's took out themselves. Assume the rest hopefully will be part of the police investigation and 'easier' for the them to say they haven't got it although they should be ultimately responsible

The alleged £20m offer again shows how valuable the land is and why I am annoyed that NTFC will not really benefit from it but outsiders who pay peanuts and don't do what is expected of them, at least DC pumped £4-5m into club at one stage.

Seems best to follow https://twitter.com/Paul_theChron and https://twitter.com/tombarton  today as Matt Precey is not ther today.  It's also closing statements today. I don't know how it works after that in terms of the Judge making a decision.  NBC are after £2m from Anthony Cardoza and £1m in damages.

The two people I want to see in court are Grossman and Mackintosh .
I understand why they have not been pursued in this case against the Cardozas but let’s hope to God they are brought to trial by the police .
Quite clearly the Cardozas feel betrayed by Grossman and I would love to see their dirty washing made public .
