Accrington Chairman Andy Holt speaking with Tifosy the mini bond company that I mentioned previously about further infrastructure improvement.
They have a stand going up and a training ground on the way. That's the can do attitude Clarkeys was referring to.

Maximising all the extra revenues that comes with playing in league 1.
Such a tiny club going up against some big beasts next season, really hope they survive.

Have you ever been to Stanley? What’s wrong with our current training facilities? The PTS stadium is ok for L1/2 football whilst Stanley isn’t.

I guess that's what happens when you don't have a dirty great piece of land behind the ground.

If Sixfields was fit for and capable of sustaining  league 1 football, why are we yet again back in the basement division?
Accrington and Northampton are different beasts, despite them doing all they can to progress their tiny club and we just happy to remain in a tiny stadium  treading water, we shouldnt be compared.
We will shake off the belittling that holds us back and we will grow our product to regain local pride and support.

Because the managers and the team, despite costing the earth, could not supply a decent end product on the pitch.

Sixfields had nothing to do with our relegation.

Why are MK Dons back in League 2 if the stadium is key to success? Their stadium is 'fit and capable' of sustaining championship football but they are now all the way at the bottom again  Huh?

Could be wrong here, but Wiki shows quite a few in the National League with bigger capacity than us?

You are wasting your breath pointing out facts to this lot.
Here's a fact for you to mull over, 5 times the cobblers have gained promotion to league 1 in the last 24 years weve been at Sixfields and every time, we have fell straight back down after a year or two and always wracked in debt with a broken up squad barely fit to hold its own, why do you think that is and why it only happens to us?
Its nothing to do with bad luck and this latest capitulation took no one by surprise other than maybe kelvin who is new to all this, but I think he now realises the futility to take on league 1 in an non league ground without decent infrastructure.
 Hope that helps😉
