Have sold several players for millions of pounds but still only a league 1 club. They need £5m players to stay afloat Its a council owned ground so the club get a small % They are every year and never do, their average attendance was less than ours last season The point is they're not a progressive club, ask their fans. Their owner has just sold 50% of the club and is openly looking for a new club to own. Their new co chairman have no football background, and they have a stadium that they don't own, don't make money from and actually lose money from it
Did I miss the reply to the 5 times we have nearly been relegated, the rule breaking and intervention?
Seems to be a bit of a firesale going on over the border. Me wonders whether the bubble is bursting over there? What would the odds be on us swapping divisions next season? Now that would be sweet!!!

"We have developed a lot off the pitch in 2 years. The Academy has improved, the training facilities have improved, the medical dept has improved, the sports science has, the community work has etc etc and that work is not often seen but the infrastructure of the club now is much better and stronger than it was."

You hate him don't you.... Or is it a crush you have on him? 😀😀.
He didn't appear on Facebook anything like your description. That's just your temper getting the better of you again. Every time your agenda is revealed, your toys come out the pram and you revert to making it personal about him again.
You was the one who sh*t it. Because you'd backed the oh so reliable councils version of events. You loved it when they kept saying there was no reason why he couldn't have gone ahead all along. Sitting in front of the TV with your can of special brew and a semi. So when KT said fcuk it I'm out of here and the big bold council folded like a paper plane you was so p*ssed off. It totally blew your vindictive campaign out of the water. The councils hand was forced. They'd been playing hard ball all along and had to do what they could have done three years back, when THEY promised to sort out the leases as soon as KT agreed ownership.
So... KT was telling the truth. And you was lying through your teeth.
He absolutely needs to move things on now. Now he's been through three years of unnecessary abuse and false allegations from you and your cronies. Now he needs to "either shyte, or get off the pot". If he doesn't soon, you will see my allegiance change. But there's quite a few on here who can be proud that they held out for the truth. What a shame you're not one of them.
Ouch - that must have registered?

Nigel, it's all been said before. He will retain is hard-on for KT and DB until they leave and someone else steps up to be the target of his unfounded, uninformed vitriolic bóllocks.
Strewth! Another dart into the vitals! Poor old Beds!

Have read lots of stuff on this thread over the last few months, some of it very passionately written from both viewpoints.
FWIW, my personal opinion is that of others in that there won't be any development done by the current owners, & that we will see a sale of the club occur within three months of the leases being received.
To quote jargon, someone else is needed to "take it to that next level".
Can't disagree with this. The only bright side is that the club is now a potential going concern. Anyway..... It's match day. C'mon Town.

Exactly.... There two in league one. By some miracle they might progress. But it won't be through substantial investment. And one of those is averaging 10k per home game more than us. Hardly a glowing endorsement for it, is it? Who is this referring too?

Any news on the redevelopment front, it’s gone a bit quiet? To reiterate, I do hope KT doesn’t blow too much on the ground. The money currently would be better spent on a winger? What does everyone else think?

For anyone living in the north stand, Cardoza kept his promise. My part of the ground was developed to plan, circa three years ago. A new soft close claret seat, a new mostly satisfactory PA system, and a new large screen replacing the old scoreboard suitably positioned in an opposite corner of the ground. KT has since enhanced my experience further by adding a licensed bar and a burger van immediately behind the stand. I've no idea what all this redevelopment fuss is about.

I think you wanted to bring this thread up again because it's about all you and a few others have in life. You know it's true...

I like to pop up every now and then for a bit of balance and honesty.
Here we go again.. I may have joked before about you being the Dalai Lama when you posted about having "found the secret to happiness," but you do keep up the claptrap. I hope your not spouting this to KT. "The challenge today is to convince people of the value of truth, honesty, compassion and a concern for others"There you go, be nice to Beds, now go balance your chakras.

I can confirm that Beds has become a Spurs season ticket holder, buying totally into their philosophy, following the close of the transfer window! Players budget - £0 Stadium budget - £1billion. Right, I'm off to Cumbria!
