You know as well as I do what I think. You sat next to me in the same room whilst I stated it perfectly clearly, As did Random, Roger and quite a few others. It’s a shame that you and a few others insist on coming across as zealots and fanatics with anybody that chooses not to take your route to addressing issues.

I have been very active for some time with this whole issue. I have made a point of meeting and speaking to a number of people, in fact all of the protagonists in this mess. All of them have shown that they are prepared to sacrifice the truth to further their own agenda.

Let me make it clear to you for the umpteenth time. I want the posturing to stop. That includes the Trust, the club and the Council. Let’s see KT put his money where his mouth is. Let’s see the Trust produce the multi millionaire backer they boasted about at the Park Inn to the gathered audience and a very concerned employee of NTFC. And let see the council come clean about certain unminuted comments that were made about NTFC at least two meetings.

The truth is I’m bored with all of you. The only person that supports affirmative action is Beds so far. And I told him that I fully support his stance. But I will not be taking that route. It’s just shame he doesn’t quite know just how many parties have not been completely honest with him, and the rest of us. Hopefully somebody decent will come along soon.

I am hardly a zealot or fanatic.  My approach throughout this long saga has been to call out our owners for their failure to honour the commitment they made when they acquired the club in 2015 concerning the completion of the East Stand.  Add to that all the other failures and unanswered questions that have marked the KT/DB era and I have long concluded that these owners are not what we want or need and that their eyes are more on the land behind the East Stand than NTFC.

The harsh reality is that by not completing the stand, loading unsustainable debt onto the club and by losing League 1 status the club is not an attractive proposition to any outside buyer.  If stories of KT’s asking price are remotely true he is living in cloud cuckoo land or just spinning wheels.  I don’t see anyone buying the club for more than a nominal amount and with the debt being written off by the owners.  The club is available we are led to believe but we don’t know if that includes the CDNL land which KT/DB acquired through an insolvency arrangement with CDNL’s Liquidators for about £170,000 plus their legals.  The CDNL land does not have planning permission attached so arguably it does not carry a high value.  Securing planning permission is clearly the principal ambition of our owners and if they ever obtained it I think they would sell on to the highest bidder and be gone.  I don’t know about any posturing but the Council’s position is clear and it is going to hold DB/KT to their East Stand obligation which allowed the club to be acquired by them.  That has to be right.

The Trust said at the Park Inn that they had interested parties, no more than that.  For the reasons I touch on above I think attracting the so-called “millionaire backer” is difficult.  This has not been helped by the publication of the latest NTFC accounts.  If we have issues at NTFC there are plenty of other clubs in the EFL also with issues some of them more pressing than our own.  Bury, Morecambe, Macclesfield, Blackpool, Coventry and Bolton face serious existential crises.  The EFL has been found wanting.  If DB ceased to support the club financially we would be in serious difficulties.  What all these problems and potential problems throughout the EFL indicate to me is that the private ownership model throughout the EFL is broken.  My view is that the community model is the way forward for clubs outside the Premier League and maybe the Championship  Putting that together takes time and effort by unpaid volunteers.   I understand the NTFC project is quietly progressing so your comment about affirmative action is inaccurate.

You mention the NTFC employee who voiced her job security concerns.  If there was a sale of the club all employees remain in place in accordance with their current employment terms. In the case of the lady concerned I think she said she worked in the club shop and, if that is so, I seem to recall the club outsourced the shop some time ago meaning that she will an employee of the business to which the shop was outsourced and not an employee of NTFC.

You ask me my position and I answered you. I am as aware of the facts as anyone is. But I remain unconvinced on any level that there is ANY genuine interest in NTFC as just a club. Yet I remained convinced, knowing the interested party/parties, that their ambition is as much the land as it is for KT.

If my statement about progress is inaccurate, who should I blame for that? I am a member of the Trust. I have sat on the board in the past. So why don't I know exactly what you do?

Look... I have no interest or desire to engage in a protracted debate about this. KT holds the trump card. The Trust is going to need one of two things to change his stance. Either a size-able amount of the support on their side. Or the ability to negotiate him down to an agreed figure. With the complete erosion of trust between the two parties I'm struggling to see a way ahead at the moment.

Unless I’m missing something hasn’t the relationship between the club and the trust now broken down to such an extent that it looks like the last thing KT is likely to do is cooperate/sell out to them? The trust can be formulating project NTFC all they like but perhaps the more important thing is trying to improve the relationship? I appreciate that I’ll probably now get inundated with posts saying that KT has never had an interest in the trust since he came here but I can’t see how both sides sniping at each other is going to progress anything.

Some of us have consistently made known our views for much of the DB/KT ownership era and we have been right to do so.  Pity that more supporters don’t have the guts or inclination to do so and try to see these owners off, difficult as that may for as long as they think there is a big profit to be made on the land behind the East Stand.  Thankfully, NBC is now playing its part but not before time.  You and I would appear to agree that the Council has not been blameless in the past.  As a club we are going nowhere with these owners.

Just genuinely wondering what this entails other than spouting off on social media, for those of us without guts/inclination?

There doesn't seem to be any definitive campaign to get behind from the Trust or anyone else, I cannot see any potential owners lobbying for us supporters to get behind them so they can take over and I don't think a mass exodus from the support will have the desired effect if the debt from KT/DB has indeed been leveraged against the club.

Like most, I agree that the East Stand debacle is an absolute shambles but I don't see what you are expecting from the average fan in regards to solving the problem?

Typical of you. One minute you are professing interest in the Trust’s community ownership project, the next you are rubbishing them.

As long as you stand as their self appointed spokesman, nothing I can say will commit them to oblivion like you are. You’ve done KT's work for him...  Grin Grin

i would love to be able to do what they have done and so far got away with, but that would never happen. I would probably/most certainly be in jail serving 4-5 years but we know he and the others will get away with it

We all share your frustration, but it is important to recognise that the law grinds exceedingly slowly; even relatively straightforward matters can take 12 months or more to get to Crown Court. This matter is quite complex, and it is highly likely those responsible for the missing mllions will have gone to great lengths to try to cover up their tracks. I think the police will get to the bottom of it, charges will be brought and ultimately justice will be done.

My frustration, besides the police taking over 3 years to investigate the Bushey Boys, so far, is the fact that the Crown Prosecution Service (our taxes pay their wages) will not give a timescale on how long they are going to take before they make a decision!.................even an estimate of one month, 6 months, a year or 2 years+.

A similar timescale estimate from KT on the East Stand development is the least fans deserve!!!

The case hasn't been fully presented to the CPS yet.

Spot on Larry, the CPS cannot make any decisions until the Police present them with a case that they can consider. So no point complaining that the CPS dont give a timescale, not their fault.

Bury's winding up order, scheduled for today has been adjourned for six weeks.
Is their situation basically similar to ours?
Reliance on a single benefactor to provide up front funds from another outside source to maintain the day to day running of the club?
Theirs was great until that outside source dried up?

Dale at Bury has continually blamed the previous owners for the financial mess they are in, whilst using his personal health problems to garnish sympathy!

Any news from KT after all he has the funds and is just waiting for NBC to sort the leases

Oh no wait they already done that 16 months ago

So how many of u are going to admit on here u were wrong about KT, just another DC in disguise, blaming NBC and not interested in medium or long term development of NTFC ?

Similar though! Out accounts for the previous year pointed to the reliance of outside investors to keep our heads above water....the ‘loans’ to our club are also made from shell companies based on the BVI, as is the case for Bury.

Let’s face it, if at any time Bower and Thomas call in the debt we are fooked, assuming they are not willing to sell the controlling interest for a fraction of their investment.

That said, theee is no sign of them doing that at present so nothing to worry about....eh?!

I thought so.
However, I would be surprised if most clubs within the Third, Fourth and National League divisions aren't in a similar position?
