Lunch in the Ashes and looking to kill a bit of time before kick off, any cat news?

No, but Thomas was at the game overlooking his lack of development..
No cats were hurt in this viewing..
Many cats however are in danger tonight of the size 9s of many frustrated cobblers fan!

See, this is the sort of commentary we are sorely missing with your refusal to participate in the podcast, you should reconsider? In fairness to you though the editing was always going to show you in an unfavourable light. It’s guaranteed to sound a right load of bollox no matter how you cut that tape up. Great fun though?

Whilst of doubtful relevance just an example of what can be done - in the little town of Vevey in Switzerland (pop 18,000) they have a festival - fête des vignerons. On the town car park they started building a 20,000 all seater stadium in January - the fête is for just 3 weeks this summer and the stadium will be completely dismantled by October.

Looking at our pitiful East Stand for another season is very sad

If we finish it to the Cardoza “happy shopper” version as in the CGI’s produced it will look better unfinished.

I personally think the East Stand is looking like a modern day version of the meccano stand at the ceynty greynd. First you hate it, then you get used to it, before you know where you are you’ve grown to love it? The view from my iPhone says leave it as is, who’s with me?

A small fit out to finish the east stand, which is not the most urgent part of sixfields development and it's urgent capacity requirements to be able to trade properly  in League 1, is not closer than ever.

Totally agree - the east stand is an embarrassing carbuncle - but when (if ever) finished it is going to make little difference to future prosperity.

Now extending the south (first) and then the north by 1500 seats would make far more sense.
