With the number of pages and posts that have been made on this thread, I am surprised that the Pope, the Queen and Donald Trump haven't featured!

I don't think it's this that the pope needs investigating for!

The most sensible suggestion (above all political posturing) I've heard so far is the potential rotation of seats for season ticket holders. I would rather watch half of the seasons home games rather than none. I think this is easily achievable with some form of social distancing model implemented. Stewards on the toilets pre match and half time, to ensure a set amount of people using them. Close the food kiosks.

The rotations to be made at half time, odd numbers will get to see the first halfs of matches, even numbers the second halfs until Christmas, then vice versa from the new year.

Could be a problem if someone gets Sunderland, Ipswich, Posh and someone else gets Accrington, Rochdale & Fleetwood

Stewards on the toilets - what a nasty image.

And is what we are doing different to Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Holland...even the US Major League is being played behind closed doors....at Disneyworld Florida! Nothing to do with "this Government" or "its" handling of the crisis.

His point might be that with other countries handling of it there is a chance stadiums will have fans in again a whole lot sooner than this country and its mockery of governence

Correct.
I don't think either of you are correct as the Pandemic started 2/3 weeks prior to the UK so it stands to reason that the UK will resume 2/3 weeks later. If and when the European Clubs do actually reopen to spectators based on your 'whole lot sooner' theory as both Italy and Spain are experiencing significant spikes with Covid-19. I am well aware of your political leanings but please clarify 'mockery of governance'. One thing to remember is that The UK health secretary Matt Hancock, is ordering an urgent review of the daily Covid-19 death statistics produced by Public Health England, after it emerged that they may include recovered former sufferers who could have died of other cause; source the Guardian. Too early to call 'of Governance' at the moment unless of course you both have agenda's to prove?

Too early to call 'of Governance' at the moment unless of course you both have agenda's to prove? 1. Other countries took decisive action ie: implementing lockdown much earlier in the timeline than the UK did and, when doing so, actually enforcing a lockdown. Not this pathetic half arsed attempt that we did. They closed their borders. They tested people 2. They do not know what they're doing. 45,000 deaths. By FAR the highest total in Europe - and from a starting point 2/3 weeks behind everybody else according to your own figures. 3. Like many other ministers, this man is not fit for the job. 4. It isn't. 45,000 deaths, remember. How's the "world beating test and trace" app coming along? Read this and take off your blue glasses https://time.com/5823382/britain-coronavirus-response/ It on;y goes up to April. Lucky really, because it only got worse from then.

Well I’ve got absolutely no political leaning but if you need clarification on mockery of governance of this government’s handling of the situation you either have been on the moon for the last 5 months or you are a diehard Tory who would (as Jeremy Paxman put it) vote for the pig with the blue rosette.

From comments like that you clearly have political leaning . Also am no diehard Tory but certainly not a Liberal.

Blimey a true Remainer and Lefty response....Items 1 and 3 are are not facts but merely mostly assertions. As a matter of interest if other Ministers and PM are not fit for the Job so who do you suggest? That's a direct question to you.

Unfortunately that’s my concern with today’s polarised society - factual observation of clear shortcomings on the current administration to you means that person must support the political alternative. It is the same with the Brexit discussion - one comes to a leave or remain conclusion but frankly anyone who thinks the EU is a perfect organisation or indeed leaving will solve all our problems without conceding some points about both arguments is in my opinion stupid and ripe to be manipulated by deep state.
