The trust were on the board during the Cardoza c0ck up wernt they?

Y would anyone trust them.

Iím inclined to agree
When the time came for a whistleblower to lift the lid on what was happening last time it was left to someone not on the board to do the deed....

What exactly were the trust doing??
It was their job to inform the members and fans and they chose not too instead leaving it to someone else.

They were not fit for purpose then and Iíd imagine itís the same people who failed the fanbase then that are still in charge and making a racket now....

Apologise for the way you let the fanbase down last time before you go on your next crusade...

As far as I know there was never an apology from the board for their part in things and theyíd have had my respect if theyíd stood up and admitted mistakes were made on their watch.

Didn't the Trusts member on the board of NTFC sign some documents at the time when requested by Cardoza, drawing down further tranches of the money without the previous work having been done?

Thatís one for the trust to answer.....
One things for sure they didnít relay anything to the paying members and just got on with it if so.....

Thatís not how you run things in my opinion
You are paid by supporters to inform them of things.....
Anything like that should have gone to the members for consultation and a vote....
Thatís called democracy.

Apologies tel
To reiterate
I am aware the trust board are (as far as I know unpaid)
The supporters however have to pay to join the trust and imo it is the trusts job to keep members informed and the signing off of legal documents should not take place until
1) the membership has had the chance to vote
2) legal advice has been taken by the trust.

Thatís my take on it.

NTFC Supporters Trust and Fan Ownership
The NTFC Supporters Trust would like to make it 100% clear that we have no ďagendaĒ on fan ownership and anyone who thinks or says that we have simply does not understand our policy and objectives.  We state every month on the Trust website that our ongoing research into fan ownership is a contingency in case the club needs rescuing again in the future, or is put up for sale.  This could be a hybrid ownership scheme as there is more than one model across Europe.
Since we made a statement about a potential land development deal between NBC and NTFC there have been further comments that we have an "agenda" regarding fan ownership.  Those claiming that we have such an agenda have misunderstood what is being communicated.  We are not the only supporters' organisation. in the country looking at alternative ways to run their club and we feel it is the very least any committed supporters' group should be doing whilst financial instability is common in lower league football.

We stand by our last statement based on what we learned from our freedom of information request to the Borough Council about the East Stand and surrounding land at Sixfields.

Blimey, the stock and credibility of The Hotel End forum has just been elevated somewhat? I thought the general perspective was that it was full of vacuous imbeciles (excluding myself obviously) communicating with each other in an irrelevant digital backwater and was to be ignored?

Can someone smarter than me locate in the Trust accounts where the loan to the football club is? Just been trying to have a look for it so I can question the club.

What are you going to question the club on? I'm pretty sure KT was not in charge when the money was handed over. I'd also be surprised if there is anything to prove it even a loan.

Now we have NTFC Trust responding to SUPPORTERS on here. And in the spirit of transparency that the Trust board are putting the emphasis on. Perhaps they could enlighten us about that transaction. Was it a declared loan. How does it appear in the Trust accounts. Was there a minuted Trust board vote on it.. ??

I could be mistaken but I see KTís band of loyalists (howís it going Tel and Charles?) are busy at work doing their masterís bidding.

And the Trust is accused of having an agenda! Classic diversionary tactics from the Trump (KT) playbook. Keep it up chaps, you are doing well.

Strange how some are getting up a head of steam up about this minor matter as though it is an issue of grave importance when the very same people have conspicuously failed to comment on the absence of any reference at all in the accounts of NTFC and associated companies for financial year 2017-2018 of anything received from 5USports.  Oh sorry, I forgot, of course no money was received and the club has been sustained since June 2017 by the benevolence of our owners. Silly me.

With respect, what was the OP trying to ask? Whether it was a loan or a gift? Or just whether it actually existed in the first place?

There are subsequent "press releases" relating to the loan too....can't find one saying its been paid back though.......

I'm just guessing here, but in the 2015/16 accounts it shows "Donations to NTFC and NTMDFC : £12,663"    The figures either side of this year are in the range of £1,700 to £4,900. Seems like the £10k has been lumped into that figure on their expenditure sheet for the financial year.

Apologies to you all and especially to Gareth Willsher, Head of Media at NTFC who I forgot to mention in my earlier post.

Gareth is a monitoring this board closely and extracting from it posts that are supportive of his paymaster and these wing their way to NBC and other interested parties,.  Great work, Gareth but a word of advice - never lose sight that some of us are well informed and prepared for this nonsense. Good servant that he is I recall Gareth being loyal to our illustrious previous owners to the very end.   And we know what happened next but he survived.  One day he may run out of owners to serve but give him credit, he knows on which side his bread is buttered for the present.

Good afternoon to you too Vintage.

When you have some evidence of any money being received I'll pay attention to your question regarding 5USport. Your assumption is based on an opinion only. One that you're entitled to have I'll add.

You state that it is a minor issue, and it is in the grand scheme of things but the big thing the Trust keep asking for is transparency from NTFC and NBC. I have seen posts on Facebook over the last couple of days from members of the Trust's board stating that money was loaned to the football club back in 2015.

In one of those posts it is stated that the club is yet to repay the "loan".

In another post - from the Trust's own Facebook account on their page, it is stated that the loan was given in cash, as requested by James Whiting and as it stands the Trust "have not asked for a repayment."

Now I may just have my "loyalist" hat on but the way I read the post that said it is "yet to be repaid" was that it was felt the club should have repaid it by now. But the Trust have confirmed in an official post that repayment hasn't been requested. So which is it?

The Trust say we should be asking questions. It feels like you, Vintage, don't think questions should be asked of the Trust. Is that true?
