You may well be right Manny. Hitler received 89.93% of votes in the 1934 referendum.
Just saying.
But hey, I promised Evers I’d shut up about politics. I guess they’ll be a law soon to stop folks publicly  expressing their non-agreed views entirely - oh wait!!!??

Anyway, this f***in East Stand eh? When will it ever be finished?

Not sure if you can help yourself?

Yep, want to show that protests aren't actually disruptive? Start a riot, set police vehicles on fire, spray "ACAB" everywhere, lob a few fireworks about - that'll show 'em!

I actually think a right to make a peaceful protest is quite important in a free society (not that I've ever attended one) and the new bill is slightly concerning in that respect, but jeez, way make it all seem justified guys! Minds like peas...

Apparently rent a mob of anarchists and communists turned up to have a pop at the old bill, oh sorry they are called activists by the BBC,  some have been arrested and will be presenting Blue Peter next week.

Bit outdated now the BBC leftie accusations - clear to see that, so fearful of a complete clear out they have become a mouthpiece of the Johnstone administration - case in point Andrew Marr who used to be a reasonable political interviewer - now anyone from the cabinet gets an incredibly easy ride when not answering the question.

You must have missed the sacking of Andrew Neil and Naga Munchetty having to apologise for liking anti British tweets.
The BBC is riddled with the “liberal elite left” a bunch of no hopers who campaign for the working class while going home to their £5m homes in Islington on a £500k tax payers salary, don’t even get me started on Lineker who earns over £2m a year.
The headline in the Telegraph said it all ....The BBC hates its viewers and the feeling is mutual.

Yes I certainly missed Andrew Neil being sacked, mainly because it didn’t happen - possibly a Daily Mail misrepresentation of the truth?

....but meanwhile the East stand still doesn’t exist and progress is not forthcoming- left or right we can all agree on that before the thread gets moved. (Although it was predominantly conservative mismanagement of the loan issue wasn’t it?)

So back to topic - I see in the trust consultation process there seems to be more support growing on a priority to extend the South stand - something (and I certainly don’t claim to be the originator) I have advocated for a while now - I don’t pretend to know the costs here but extending the South and perhaps the North would I believe resonate with far more grass route support and with the right organisation could I believe raise a significant contribution to costs via crowd funding- but it needs a much broader community and local business approach.

The net output of 1400 pages is a part built stand, a few million quid doing a vanishing trick and I'm sure the odd mention of Hitler.
Here's to the next 1400!

This is what I predict the re hash will consist of.

10 no boxes plonked above the existing east stand, the current walk way at the top of the stand will accommodate a couple of rows squeezed in to give 450 extra seats.
The finished job will resemble those boxes at Luton on top of the old east stand!

Id love to be miles wrong and there will be 10 new rows of seats built, giving us a 9000 seat stadium.
But very much doubt it.

Not even this. When this was posted I had a full head of hair. Searched Hitler on this forum and nearly every mention is in this thread
