Pretty sure they were all Trust members, you would think someone has a hidden agenda wouldn't you  Was it a closed meeting? The names of the Councillors who attended have been published, in normal 'meetings' all of the attendees would be published, or is there a 'hidden agenda'? Basically, who represented all of the Trust members, including myself, and in what capacity at that meeting? |

Although mentioned in a lighthearted way you raise an important point - resolution of the current situation requires a level of diplomacy and ability to concede some ground - the everything is “black or white” brigade are unlikely to achieve anything positive and unfortunately the more outspoken (or ultra repetitive) individuals only succeed in polarising opinion. |

Does it underline the fact that KT has no interest in resolving any differences and is now trying to divide the supporter base even further?

It truly is black and white, all or nothing, our club either sink or swims. It competes or it continues to bounce along on the bones of its arse. It challenges in L1 or rots in L2. It engages with its catchment and local businesses to grow the supporters base and infrastructure or it allows outsider speculators to continually mothball our club.. For me it's far more than just having a supporters voice on the board, it's not having Thomas voice on it! Yes that's how bad I see things, Thomas is persona non grata at our club, he hasn't done a single thing in 6 years to benefit the long term health of our club. There's nothing he can do for ntfc, so for that reason I believe he needs to be encouraged to do what they did at Oxford and Torquay...Ask him to leave. |

Yes that's how bad I see things, Thomas is persona non grata at our club, he hasn't done a single thing in 6 years to benefit the long term health of our club.
There's nothing he can do for ntfc, so for that reason I believe he needs to be encouraged to do what they did at Oxford and Torquay...Ask him to leave.
Might be the same old conversation but operating for 6 years facilitating considerable transfer activity without any outside debt is an impressive achievement. If he leaves what strategy does anyone have in place to secure the immediate financial security of the club. Please avoid the use of terms like well wishers and businesses without being specific because it will be meaningless. The problem people have on your side of the argument is that a significant proportion of the fan base are concerned that we go down the toilet without them. So they believe we are swimming and the option you offer means we sink like a stone. Without addressing those concerns with a realistic plan that offers hope, you will be wasting your time as much as ever. I have enough conversations with enough people to believe this is fact and until this is disproved by a democratic process the owners will be staying right where they are until they and only they decide otherwise. If I am wrong someone with your opinion will end up on the board so we may be about to find out? I know you will be extremely disappointed by this and will probably refuse to accept it but you were saying all this 3 years ago plus and we are still under the same ownership so your stamina is impressive. |
