We will find out soon enough.

Ooooooooooh. The much fabled “big news”. You do know that after years of spouting this rubbish, you’ll be able to announce that when something does happen, you predicted it 😂😂😂.

Can I have a go…. I confidently predict that:

It will snow

Someone will fall over in the street

My cat will have a sh*t

I can see why you like this ongoing big news thing you have going on…. 😁

I think you and I will be going on the pensioners motorbike weekends by the time it happens.

In all honesty, who could blame him if he did?

Still nothing I’m afraid, Councillor has not responded to the Trust request for any new update.

Seems like the council are now running around with their hair on fire having gone from a £4m surplus to a £6m black hole in a matter of weeks….that may now be their priority to sort out before anything else happens.

Now the transfer window has closed, let's resurrect this bad boy!  Grin

Have the councillors on the trust board, bothered to update them regarding the final red book land valuation report yet, or are they still not returning their calls/messages I wonder?

Thought the whole point of having these two councillors on the trust board, was to keep the trust/supporter base updated with all things going on between NTFC owners and the council. Pointless exercise if they can't even be bothered to respond to the trusts calls/messages  Undecided

Il correct you.
The owners came in and very quickly purchased the land behind the east stand.
The south car park was put up for sale ( the tell tale sign being the large FOR SALE sign outside said land).

The owners did not show the same eagerness in acquiring this land as they did when acquiring the east stand land.

is this the land that 2 years down the road nobody wants and is still up for sale? presumably because it's unsuitable for anything

Didn’t it have a planning application go through for a cable company relocation from MK?

Yes it did but that was a year ago, seem strange there’s been no movement?
Much better as a car park.

As ever, thanks for the update GPC

Is the announcement to the general public or just to the club?

What's your hunch, will this deal appease everyone so that bloomin' stand can finally get finished?

Or will the revised land valuation be too much for KT/DB to swallow?

The leader of the Council has said there will be an update so I’m guessing it will be public.

My hunch is that not much if anything will have changed, but with a proper valuation they will be on a firmer legal footing going forward.

Appreciate the updates GPC.
Would it be fair to assume the update will be little more than they've received the updated valuation and will be reviewed at cabinet meeting in March (cant see it on the Agenda for next Tuesday or any other meetings in the Calendar)
