I'm not sure what you realistically expect, you either support a football club or you don't. Unfortunately the majority of people in Northampton don't support Northampton Town FC.
The Season Ticket numbers aren't going to fluctuate wildly unless we have a couple of seasons at the right end of League One and you may see more of an increase then or plummet toward the bottom of the conference and you'll see sales drop off.
As it is, we're in League 2, the average gate is up and given we've always very much sat in the Fourth tier of English football, 4-5000 people still come to watch each week and a good number travel around the country for away matches.

Only the giver and receiver may know and even then, they are guided by the current data protection Laws. The painful thing for you on here is that there are relatively few facts but plenty of opinions. My impression is that some of the signings are of sufficient quality to base an "opinion" on Of course you have the right to challenge an opinion but carry on regardless Einstein! Reading between the lines you appear anxious to play down the cost of bringing better quality players!...el politico

Far from it, I have had the carpet sweeper out, boiled and hand washed my pants, and prepared chicken and bacon tortelloni with garlic and onions for a stir fry. Happy days.

Why do you continue to ignore facts - yes there is revenue from all those sources as described but the reality is most clubs (agreed not all) continue to make a loss despite that - circa £1 to 2 million pa. Under a lot of arguments and controversy the Trust have announced a plan that could with luck and I’m sure a lot of hard work yield £250k - and well done to them if they succeed but even they know (& within their ranks there are some owner bashers that rival you) that is insufficient to run a L1/2 club - so where does the shortfall come from? - factual business justified answer please…..
So if he was losing over a million for 7 straight years then the question is why the hell is he still allowed to get away with it? If we're really hemorrhaging money at that rate, the blame Firstly lays with the poor organisation, then the lack of system in place to help eleviate the problem with local support to ease the pain and share the burden..But no.. we have the same old protagonist and friends happy sitting back allowing our club sink deeper in an never ending cycle of debt and failure.. Maybe as Hamster suggested in a roundabout way, we do need a key board warrior running our club from a working men's club.. Couldn't do any worse?

The circle of contradiction continues. It is possible to run a club on a break even or profit basis. The fact is that over 90% don’t and those that do it’s because of player transfers and in the short term. What people are suggesting may be achievable for NTFC. However, for virtually every club at our level it just isn’t reasonably possible without out-performing a very significant trend. For whatever reason people will insist on an ideal and attack the owners. Frankly they are simply picking the wrong target. Even if they neuter the owners and drive them out what’s to say the next owners won’t be clones of these, or worse? If you truly want change then it’s the whole system of ownership that needs changing and that means targeting the EFL/Government. An exceptionally difficult challenge maybe, but far better than a pointless battle to remove owners that have kept the club afloat for getting on for a decade, have repeatedly kept them competitive on the pitch in league 2, seemingly have the support or at the very least indifferent acceptance of the majority of the fan base, and could potentially be replaced by someone far more volatile and dangerous for the future of the club. The good news for the average supporter is the longer the stalemate over the land continues, seemingly the longer the current owners will remain in situ. And that just may be a silver lining on a very dark cloud on the horizon. I keep saying it, be careful what you wish for.

I've kept my seat on, which I've had since the stadium opened and I'm in the process of moving to Weymouth! I don't think I'll get up to many games 5/6 maybe however, its made realise how much I love our club.
That's pretty loyal and commendable, especially when compared to me, in 4 years I've bit the bullet an paid for tickets for the Derby fa Cup game and the beam back from Barrow.. £40 in 4 years.. That's £40 quid more than has been spent on the east stand and any ground extension in 20 years... Been to lots of great away games to get my Cobblers fix. Time for change.. Northampton wants its football club back.

Northampton wants its football club back. When you've been to those away games have you checked who gets your money? Chances are the fans of those clubs think most of the owners are corrupt and running their club into the ground. And you are helping to fill their pockets? Double standards mate, double standards!
