Also Random, if the judicial review finds that the sale of the land needs an open bidding process, do you think £3million will be enough?

I can answer that one to say it will be nowhere near, and the highest bidder will wait 10-20 years to do anything with the land while waiting for things to develop around the land to make it worth a lot more. This could also include them buying Sixfields Stadium if the club ceased to exist, meaning the precious running track too.

There, I've now stated why I am now fully behind KT, as of today, after finding out for sure that the above is the likely outcome of an open bidding process.

Don't get fixated with the No Stand No Land.

Get fixated with No Land No Club No Sixfields Stadium.
Absolute nonsense Grin The only way Northampton would lose its football club would be if no one wants it anymore.
It can be subjected to decades of mothballing by manipulative land hungry owners and sycophantic supposedly supporters of ntfc allowing them to get away with it,  but even then NTFC wouldn't die just nor thrive.

Let's clear out the greedy and time-wasting owners and get in some forward thinking custodians..
Northampton deserves a much better club.

Proof by assertion, sometimes informally referred to as proof by repeated assertion, is an informal fallacy in which a proposition is repeatedly restated regardless of contradiction and refutation.[1] The proposition can sometimes be repeated until any challenges or opposition cease, letting the proponent assert it as fact, and solely due to a lack of challengers (argumentum ad nauseam).[2] In other cases, its repetition may be cited as evidence of its truth, in a variant of the appeal to authority or appeal to belief fallacies.[3]

This fallacy is sometimes used as a form of rhetoric by politicians, or during a debate as a filibuster. In its extreme form, it can also be a form of brainwashing.[1] Modern politics contains many examples of proofs by assertion. This practice can be observed in the use of political slogans, and the distribution of "talking points", which are collections of short phrases that are issued to members of modern political parties for recitation, and in order to achieve maximum message repetition. The technique is also sometimes used in advertising.[4]

Maybe a room for the food bank or a kiosk where food could be dispensed, but like a takeaway.

After seeing the Wrexham story I think we should make a pitch to get Ironman. That Downey Jnr is a nutter with deep pockets.

Bury probably said that.
A much smaller club from an area saturated by massive clubs.
They do however have something in common with us, having suffered many years of useless owners.

What they do have is a very good football stadium for such a small club.
The exact opposite to us.

And yet they still went under despite the stadium, that nailed the coffin shut on that old chestnut then.

It happened to them but we're a much bigger club so it won't happen to us.

Even the basket case that is Scutnorpe (sic) managed to find new owners last week...... there's hope for everyone!! Gillingham and Colchester in our league too.

Bury were the exception rather than the norm.
