Ref £ per seat. Old Trafford will be £20k per seat. Unless you use the correct version of a billion then it will be £20m per seat!

So there you go. As I said all along. The cost of the East stand and the surrounding assisting infrastructure is about right. But as I also said at the time, that won't fit some peoples agenda.

It seems impossible to design a unique new ground these days. Not sure about the netting on the outside. The upper tier looks a bit steep but most importantly too many Mancs. Could be a good ground for the Championship.

No. You just did that for me. I am comparing comparative building costs across a broad spectrum of projects, some of which I know entirely. Coupled with some simple research.

Great news, look forward to hearing feedback from people who use it tomorrow. I was at the Bristol game a few weeks ago, was hoping it was going to be open by then but wasn't to be - did think the food had been significantly upgraded though, perhaps a sign of things to come over on the East.

Wait...I thought the owners had no intention of ever completing the East Stand... Must be a mirage! Those goal posts got moved as soon as the builders moved in. It’s now the case that none of it is any good, keep up.

Let me make one thing absolutely clear, the Trust “advisor” is not god. Are you going to tell him or shall I?
