Rubbish. So if you were in Team Sky, you would win? Have you seen those mountain stages? "Sir" Bradley Wiggins!

It is more often the case and reading between the lines on this one someone has bubbled him to the old bill.

Absolutely great day for Great Britain, hope it gets all the press coverage it deserves, never been a british winner ever before in the tour and now we have a great chance with a one-two Smiley

Only because their parents happened to be there when they were born. I was born in Warwickshire hospital but have always lived in Northants therefore I am a Northants native.

Does that old bearded fella who dresses up as a Devil still appear high up in the mountains?

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?

A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

I hope that in years to come, neither are suspected of being 'with enhancing substances' during 2012!  Roll Eyes

I was referring to Wiggins and Froome. Since found out that Froome is Kenyan with British grandparents.

You'll mean Dieter Senft:

He's not there this year, as he's recovering from surgery, but it is the first he's missed since 1993.

He also has his own bike:

Good bit of sportsmanship today from Wiggo and Team Sky, various riders including reigning champion and current fourth place Cadel Evans got punctures as a result of carpet tacks being placedon the road.  Despite the obvious advantages of riding off at high speed, Wiggo, as race leader, slowed the peleton down until Evans got back to them, with his whole team pulling together to help him out.

Good old British sportsmanship.  We can still show Johnny Foreigner a thing or two about fair play despite the Terrys and Ferdinands of this world.

I thought that behaviour was normal amongst TdF cyclists?

Born in Belgium? Bit of a mongrel.
He will be British though when/if he wins overall.   Cool

Oi Colonel, are you letting the facts get in the way of a good story!

Lets say he is upholding fine traditions.  (If he put the tacks there in the first place, he is certainly upholding the fine traditions of the early years of the TdF - typical French sportsmanship.)

The BBC must think he's a dead cert, they are now referring to him as a Londoner.  If he only rolls in second, he'll become British and if he has a mare in the Pyrennees tomorrow, he'll be a Belgian.
