Only a matter of a couple of hours now and Wiggo will be crowned champion.

Get in front of the television from about 15.45 and watch the end and see some of the greatest team work in sport as Team Sky deliver Cav over the line.  Even Wiggins who doesn't need to do anything other than not crash today, will be there leading out, to repay the team work from earlier in the Tour.

Allez Cav.

I have absolutely no interest in cycling but am acutely aware of what an achievement this is. Well done Bradley. Or should I say Sir Bradley?

An immense achievement Baldy. I never thought I would see a Brit win it in my life time and Cavendish is something special too. The way he went past everyone in his previous stage win made me think there might be an engine tucked away on his bike somewhere.

Let's hope they can be just as successful in the Olympics.

What an excellent three weeks following Le Tour.  A better result than I could have imagined at the start.

Normally I would be following the Tour d'Alsace this coming week, but I'm stuck in Yorkshire for the summer.  Pity as they've got the GB u23s competing as well as another UK team which includes someone from just over the other side of the moor from me, so the NTFC Yorkshire flag could have made an appearance.

Roll on the Olympics.  Come on Sir Chris and the gorgeous Victoria Pendleton.

Not much of a fan myself, but you have to say it was a superb achievement.
I found some nice pictures as well. Probably best viewed on a PC instead of your phone.

Its coming to Yorkshire in 2014.  Can't wait.

They announced the route yesterday.  Its passing about four miles from here and going through my parents' village twice in two days!

I'm going to apply to be a Tour Maker.

Following on from the pricing thread, this biggest event of its kind in the world is FREE to watch.
