I've just had a very horrible thought about the Transfer Window It ends 5pm Tuesday If that is the case & we are away at Hartlepool United I would imagine Sammo & the boys will be on a bus from about 1pm so that's going to make deals difficult to do & should any of our players go how they going to do it from a bus It says to me unless a second person at the club is answering phones there won't be any players in or out unless deals have already been done which is somewhat doubtful If my memory serves me right the loan market opens back up three weeks later so maybe that's when any players might come in unless non contracted/free transfers are brought in. Sorry to point all this out, would like to think I'm just being pessamistic

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

So I wouldnt expect any new permanent signings.

Of course if Hartlepool wanted any of our players to keep Colin company, it would be ideal. Might even get an increased fee if we offered same day delivery.

Its the same every transfer window, we all sit and wait hoping we will sign that elusive 20+ a season goal machine but come 6pm there will be no transfers in or out of Sixfields

Just seen Malcolm Christie chasing after the team coach as it left for Hartlepool, unfortunately it seems he's pulled a muscle while taking part in the chase.

The words said by Cardoza at the weekend.. "We know that we need to strengthen the squad and we came close to bringing someone in before the Wycombe game but I'm sure we will add to the squad in the next couple of days." He is sure we will add to the squad in the next couple of days... today is the last day of the transfer window. He wouldnt lie to us would he?

Looks like the guy coming today will be a championship defender on loan. No striker!! Sammo thinks all the strikers are doing ok at the minute, he needs to wise up, we have scored 2 league goals this season and both have been pens!
"I've made no secret of the fact that I want to bring in a striker but the players we've got are doing okay" He must be on the wind up? Surely he can’t actually think that?

My only thought can be that we have a striker lined up who is out of contract and therefore is no major rush.
I cannot believe we are going to stick with the same strikers we have for the season.

More like, "We’ve only had 4 months to look for another striker, we needed more time. The loan market opens again in a week so will continue to look for one then" Hopefully we will have another one in place within a couple of years.

I'm glad that the cobblers are travelling to hartlepool today - it means that the players who have gone there can't be going to sign for anyone else!

Its the same everytime, hitting the refresh button hoping to see this fantastic signing taking us all by surprise, but then edging ever closer to the 5pm deadline and realising that as usual it will come and go with us either no better off or if anything more lightweight than before.
I think the last time I was genuinely taken aback by quality signings was when Eioin Jess and Chris Doig were announced together. (I think there was a third player as well - possible Ian Taylor)
