Not so many today, but they all count.

Sailing: Ben Ainslie

Tennis: Andy Murray

I had it on good authority (well, I read it on Facebook) that if Yorkshire was a country, we would be 7th, so to celebrate that FACT (or possibly work of ficiton), well done Yorkies everywhere - including the great Aidy Boothroyd and two future Olympians or Mighty Cobblers defenders, depending on how the mood takes them.

Yes, I've seen this, although I'd like to point out that it's national lottery money that has funded those Yorkshire atheletes, not just Yorkshire money.  Tongue That said, flippin brilliant, well done all our athletes!

If I may point out, probably less has been funded by Yorkshire money as your average Yorkshireman is "careful" with their money.

Northants had one bronze in the County medal table!  Cool
Who was that?

If no one else is going to, I will especially for Bingers:

I'm back in Olympic mood again as I've just watched the closing ceremony for the first time.

So Yorkshire only finished 11th in the end and Bingley would have been 49th, equal with Latvia courtesy of these two members of Bingley Harriers Athletics Club:
