Cardiff fan in peace. Can't wait for next week, I live in Wellingborough so its only a quick journey but looking forward to having a few beers in the town centre before going over to the game. Haven't been to sixfields in years the last game i think we won 3-2 with Earnshaw scoring an overhead kick in the last few minutes to win the game.

What do you guys think your chances are like? We have a fair few players on international duty but I still feel we will name a pretty strong side.

We have knocked out Liverpool, Brighton, Bolton and Ipswich in recent seasons. This is our fave competition results wise but you will still be favourites

Should be a good game we have a few players out on international duty and even if we do sign Bellamy by then I can't see him playing or kim bo kjung who is play in the Olympics for south Korea. We had the same problem last year and needed extra time to win against Oxford but to be fair we have a much better squad this year.

You shouldn't need to wear your 'nice' new red shirts either.... Tongue

Cardiff city could play in bright pink at home and I wouldn't care, I support Cardiff city no matter what colour shirt they play in. Id rather change the shirt colour and take the investment and challenge for the premiership then go bankrupt. A small price to pay but for the greater good. w hen the Malaysians leave we will no doubt to back to blue

I wondr what the response would be on here if we suddenly had to play in blue as our prime colour?

I can understand why people are upset about it, the only thing I wasn't happy about was changing the badge but then it was changed when Sam Hamman was in charge and then was change swiftly back when he left. If no investment was on offer then I would make a bigger fuss but the money is just too good to give up. The Malaysian owners have stuck by their word and given malky a lot of money to spend so we shall see what happens this season.

The colour of the shirt doesn't really bother me. We have had various different 'claret's' over the years, one was definitely red! While not the same as changing colour completely, it bothered me more when we changed our badge a few years ago. The badge is, to me, what you play for, what the club is, what the TOWN is.

So which badge do you mean because since ive followed the Cobblers we have had 5 changes of the badge, badges as with colours mean nothing as most clubs have change'd 1 or the other in their history

MK_Cobbler surely it is common sense in this situation

a) Good keeper who can play in all league games till Higgs is back or

b) Pathetic keeper who can play in League Cup.

In my lifetime of supporting Cardiff city I've come to understand there's always a chance of us not showings acing the desire to win and blowing the game so who knows what is going to happen. Rumours are we are signing Bellamy tommorow so he may well be in the match day squad on Tuesday but how much he will play god only knows.

Does a playoff semi-final back in 97 fit into that category?  Grin
