Well we have now officially signed Bellamy but I highly doubt he will play on Tuesday. He has been named in the Wales squad for Wednesday but I can't see him playing in that game either

I wonder why they didn't make this a Saturday fixture like a lot of other teams?

Because Cardiff arranged a home friendly with Newcastle United before the draw was made

Didn't they know they were in the cup? It doesn't say much for the competition if a friendly takes precedence.

Games were due to be played week begining 13th Aug, any games taking place before that date are down to the two clubs agreeing. In theory any games taking place today are pre-season.

Marshall and Cowie have been called up for Scotland.Velikonja for Slovenia.Helguson and Gunnarsson for Iceland.
Earnshaw and Joel Lynch have now been called up for the Wales squad too, most probably play alot of their reserves/youth team now .. More of a match! However Cardiff did play some youngsters in a 4-0 win over Cheltenham but pre-season means f*** all ..

No Nicholls as Wigan have refused permission for him to play.
Snedker in goal then?

Senior Keeper, short-term option...I hope it isn't Tim Flowers. I started by laughing out loud when I thought about this earlier today, bit I have to admit I am a bit worried now.

Hudson hasn't travelled so it will be keinan in the centre with one of our second string centre backs maybe. Wittingham has had a great pre season and our new signing Jordan Mutch is a brilliant signing though isn't match for so may be slightly off his game. Heider helguson was signed from qpr an was one f their top goal scorers last year. That is indeed joe Lewis from Peterborough.

For the seasons opening competitive fixture I expect an opening ceremony of Danny Boyle proportions. Thinking the Mystic Crew, Tough at the Top andBauhaus.
|
I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet
