I thought that was a decent first half performance with some decent passages of play from us and we were certainly unlucky to be behind at the break. In the second half we were sh1t. Very sh1t. Boy did we miss Nicholls once he'd gone off!

It was quite disappointing that we didn't seem to really go for it in the last 10 minutes, but ho hum, on to Plymouth.

I wanted us to play a strong side but it was pointless...we didn't go for it at all. Shadow play for the whole second half. Frustrating and I see a fair few stayed away £20 just wrong

again we're on telly and again dogsh*t...second half was dire but at least a win against Plymouth we'll all be happy again.

That's what you get with a little bit of application. I've seen us try a lot harder in the league

Mokendi or whatever his name is, was absolutely sh1te when he came on. Did absolutely nothing and lost the ball continuously. We missed Nicholls tremendously. We missed tozer when he went off as well. We were getting exposed in midfield after that with plenty of gaps behind our midfield 4. I think the defence did well. I absolutely love Hackett. I think he is a superb player and will be a massive player for is this season as will Nicholls and Platt. Harding and gutts were strong, particularly 1st half. I must admit, i was disappointed at the strength of the team we put out in light of Saturdays game. Alot of players took knocks. Lets just hope they're fit for sat. As for bayo....christ, how does a professional footballer on £7k a month not understand that his job is to eat healthy and stay fit? I agree with most of that apart from the bayo comment

Well, that ended up being rather disappointing. I thought we were unlucky to go in trailing at HT: once again abysmal defending let us down. But in the 2nd half, we rolled over and had our tummies tickled. Never looked like scoring. You expect it to be the 4th division side that puts in the agricultural challenges but it was Wolves who wanted to mix it and some of our guys didn't seem to fancy it much.

Positives: I thought that after a shaky 10 minutes or so, the new lad on loan from Hull, East, acquitted himself well and didn't look out of place. I agreed with the sponsors for once over MoM, as Guttridge was everywhere making a nuisance of himself. Also thought the captain did a good job at the back.

Negatives: Tozer. Can't knock a ball 5 yards back to someone who has taken a throw in; didn't get stuck in enough for me and doesn't win enough in the air. Seems to me he is only in the side because he can chuck a ball a long way. The Liverpool lad, Mukendi, had a 'mare. On that showing, Robinson should be knocking on AB's door in the morning demanding a place on the bench. I believe Alistair Slowe could have turned in a better performance.

Side issue: Akinfenwa. If AB lets him go tomorrow and the strikeforce AB has brought in don't do the business, then I doubt the crowd will forgive him. He had better be damn sure he has got this right if he does sell him.

Couldn't be happier, you can all blame me if it turns pear shaped. Up next year without a doubt and no need of the play-offs.

Thought Clive Platt was shocking today apart from his goal, still not impressed with him yet!
Time for Bayo to have a go imo

Don't understand the point of taking Platt off for Moult, then about a minute later Langemead pushing upfront with Moult playing god knows where and the defence left in a mess. If we wanted a head on stick why not keep Platt on who does the job better, I can't remember a time when any of Langemead's striking cameos have had a positive effect on the team.

Much of whats already been said...

AB said beforehand that if we were to beat them, our lads had to put in 8's and 9's. A couple of 7's (maybe), the rest were 6's and 5's. Decent first half mind and should have been in front. 2nd half showing was disappointing.

East had a mare in the first 15 minutes, then played superbly. The 'kid' in goal oozes potential but was more to blame for the 2nd goal than his team mates were. He will learn from that for sure. Mukendi...reminded me of Danny Lowe on that showing!

Don't agree with the anti Platt comments, I thought that he had a really decent game...and took his goal really well. Gutts...I sit in the North and can only say that I 'didn't get it' and neither did anyone around me when he was given mom. BUT and I said it in the car on the way home...you see a very different game from behind the goal to the one you will see down the side. Harding...was he playing? ! Tozer...hmmm.

All in all, not overly disappointed but not 'creaming' about it either. I have missed the league games...got back from a fortnights holiday in the early hours...but saw both cup games. Factoring in an element of improvement, evolvement and AB making additional changes throughout the season, a play off place is not out of the question on the showings so far so pretty happy at this point in time!

Compare tonights game with the 0-4 last season if you want to compare where we are now to where we were at the same time last year!

Although a big Bayo fan, thought Platt won his fair share of headers tonight against good defenders and put himself about a bit ,more so than Bayo who i thought struggled.Took his goal well too.

I thought tonight that a lot of Platts headers, went up in the air, as opposed to down to the intended player, which is not what you would expect from a target man.

Think the comments re: Tozer are harsh. Was solid in the first half. His passing was alot better than usual and put himself about alot more. Thought the young lad east acquitted himself well and has a lot of potential. Mukendi is terrible!
Bayo has looked a couple of yards off the pace in every cameo he's made this season and until he puts the work in to get fit we should keep using him as an impact sub!
How someone blamed the second on Snedker is beyond me! It was a total fluke, as was the first!
Thought all in all we put in a good shift against a stronger side and can be positive going into the Plymouth game!

Based on the last two matches the defence which is letting in very soft goals has to be a concern.  We competed well in the 1st half against Wolves but made the classic error of conceding a goal just before half time. Clealry it affected us and we never got back into the game. In the 2nd half we were poor and Wolves retained possession with ease for long periods.  The subsitutions did not work.  Bayo or Platt?  It remains a difficult one but Platt on tonight's performance.  May be after today it won't be an issue. Guttridge rightly MoM.

Thought both Wolves first half goals were pretty lucky - though bad defending for the first - but always thought Wolves could go up a gear if they needed to. First half was OK - but we needed to get stuck in in the 2nd and didn't. Lots of basic errors and giving the ball away. Mukendi will need to do a lot better than that.

Yeah shocking apart from his well taken goal, neat hold up play, knockdowns  and distribution. The guy could be playing for any team in League 1 were lucky to have him

Two lucky goals that hit the Wolves players, if Snedker was bigger he may have cut the intial cross for the second but apart from that couldn't be blamed for either.

Mukendi and Platt didn't put themselves about enough and/or work hard enough to win the 60/40 50/50 balls.
Impressed with Hackett throughout and Nicholls whilst he was on.

Back four were solid enough until we went three at the back but at least we were going offensive.
Couldn't understand the Moult sub, maybe Wilson could have had some game time with a bit of speed that they had already shown they didn't like in the first half?

When Bayo came on, he showed how a target man should play, his work back to goal was immense.
I would like to see him feeding Hacket, Nicholls and Harding running on from deep/wide.  Pity he apparently cannot do 90 minutes.

Tozers departure highlighted his work that enables Gutts and Harding to perform.
Gutts MoM was deserved, was involved and linking for everything but was pushed imo by Hackett.  I like a player who will shoot on sight and isn't afraid to miss.  You cannot score if you don't shoot.

First look this season and am hopeful that we will at least be pushing for the playoffs  Cool
