Maybe its just me, but does anyone else think Platt never comes to the ball and always expects the ball to be played directly to him? Almost like what some people were criticising Bayo for last season. Untill his goal last night I don't think he really did alot, strange how people see things differently! I think hes going to be one of those players who divides opinions.

Given the low(er?) attendance and having to play on Thursday, less than 48 hours before a league game in Plymouth, it looks like having the game televised has been a pretty bitter pill for us. The £20 price obviously didn't help either.

Gutts...I sit in the North and can only say that I 'didn't get it' and neither did anyone around me when he was given mom. BUT and I said it in the car on the way home...you see a very different game from behind the goal to the one you will see down the side. Harding...was he playing? ! Tozer...hmmm.

This is exactly why I dont sit in the north, terrible view of the action, Guttridge was our best player by a mile  Grin

If Platt knew how to attack the ball in the box instead of waiting for it to drop at his feet he might become a reasonable player. Said before, but we were totally outclassed second half.

Mokendi or whatever his name is, was absolutely sh1te when he came on. Did absolutely nothing and lost the ball continuously. .....

I had a little chuckle last night.... stopped up into the wee small hours to watch the game on a local arabic station (syndicated Sky).  I couldn't understand the commentators, so managed, somehow, to get an internet radio feed from WM radio.  Slightly disconcerting, as the TV was about 10 seconds ahead of the radio commentary.

Anyhow, they described Mukendi as (words to the effect of): "The perfect build and athleticism to play any sport.  Unfortunately, he hasn't found the one that he excels at, yet."

.... and they described Bayo as a local hero, who stands about 5ft10ins, but is as wide as a sofa.....

I agree that Platt needs to ask for the ball more. One time we had a break from Hackett, Platt should have made a run into space but he seemed to hide behind the defender. Hackett had to shoot from long range. It seems that Platt isnt that confident, opefully ADB will make him into a more complete player

Hope that's not the time Bayo was wanting it?

how do you know what he eats & isnt fit over 10 years as a pro player says you are wrong

Seriously? You don't become that size by eating salad alone. And don't misinterpret what im saying. I'm a big fan of bayo but there is a reason he isn't starting...and the reason is because he's not fit and clearly overweight - at least 2.5 stone overweight.

Classic. I would expect ishy will be chomping at the bit to be the first choice on the left when looking for a sub option. Id expect him to start against mk.

A professional footballer doesn't salad alone as it would'nt give them the nutrition they need they tend to eat mainly what we eat other than foods with a high sugar or fat content, they need food food like rice, pasta, fish & chicken foods that contain carbs & proten, everyones body burns off fats differently if Bayo was as overweight as you state then he wouldnt even be on the bench

I was looking forward to the MK game next week but don't think I'll bother after watching the less than mediocre s***e dealt up in the previous couple of games.

Mukendi is already vying to be top of my list of worst ever player to wear a Cobblers shirt.  He was dreadful.  Why didn't ADB use the game as an opportunity to blood some of our own youngsters like Lewis Hornby?  He couldn't have done any worse than Muck, End Of.

Wolves have Chelsea away next round to

Based on the numbering we would have been home to Middlesborough, IF we had won.

We had no penetration or pace up front once Nichols had to go off, surely Demontagnac could have been given his first run out. I don't understand why he hasn't managed any time on the pitch so far.

Christ, I didn't mean salad alone. Are you a nutritionist!?

He is overweight and not fit as he is marginally lighter (if you can use that word) than he was this time last year when adb told him that he was 3 stone overweight and not fit. Therefore I would say he is still at minimum 2 stone overweight. Surely you have to agree?

We could have been hosting the ManUre 3rd XI tonight!   Tongue

At 4-0 down, I said to my daughter, The Gunners are going to win this... Cool
