Exactly. Half the clowns on here still wanted him as our manager. He was never cut out for it, absolutely clueless.
So is every manager we've had in your peculiar little world. Have noticed you're starting to turn on Aidy now...

He resigned not sacked
Really? The decision was taken at half time to fire him (as I posted on here at the time). Apparently he was summoned to the office at 5:20, given the honourable way out, and was gone by 5:25. You can call it what you like - I know what I'd call it.

Maybe the ****s around NTFC who thought he was a decent manager will finally see sense now.
Sadly, I have to agree. I thought we played dire football under Sammo. Lovely bloke but very dour interviews and always blaming someone other than himself for his teams failures. I cannot for the life of me understand why so many fans thought the world of him other than he was a tremedous servant. Anyone blabbing on about him having a small budget is talking out of their backsides. You only have to look at the likes of Accrington, Rochdale, Stevenage and Morecambe to see that money isn't everything if you've got a manager that knows what he's doing. Good luck Sammo but please stay away from management

Good luck Sammo but please stay away from management I think you've mixed Sammo up with Gary Johnson to be honest I thought we played some pretty decent stuff under Sammo, sadly it didn't lead to great results. As for blaming someone else, that was definitely GJ, Sammo was as honest as they come!!!

No, too persistent, over 1200 posts. Not a troll, just a very large @rsewipe.

As for blaming someone else, that was definitely GJ, Sammo was as honest as they come!!! Oh come on Fez. We all know that Sammo is a nice bloke, but the guy just isn't cut out to be a manager. You cannot shy away from the fact that he never appeared to inspire much confidence in his players. His man management appeared to be shocking. I remember countless post-match interviews when he would openly blame players for mistakes which had cost us points. Honest yes, but doesn;t do much to players morale when you are being openly criticized by your manager. His ability to sign decent players also has to be questioned. Alistair Slowe, Seb Harris, Paul Rodgers, Nat Wedders, Herbert, Francis, J Walker. This list goes on and on. He spanked the majority of his budget this summer at Corby on over the hill ex cobblers cast-offs such as Holt, McKenzie, Wedders, Kaziboni and Crowe. I bet they took up the majority of the budget, leaving the remaining signings to be frnech youngsters and inadequate players from lower down the non-league pyramid. It shows just how poor his networking relationships are with other professional clubs. Then there was the recurring Northern drone about how DC had slashed the budget. This was repeated whilst he was at Corby. The fact of the matter was, he had a decent enough side whilst he was here and he produced mixed results. During his tenure, other than good performances such as Oxford & Crewe, we were truly shocking in games against Burton, Morecambe, Barnet and Hereford to name a few. His teams have shipped goals for fun. Whilst you may think that was entertaining, i never though we were going anywhere with him. The teams success during his time here was inconsistent at best, and I believe the side were on a downward spiral. Good bloke but if you're arguing about his time as a football manager, he hasn't done the business whether you like it or not.

Have heard via Twitter from a couple of local journalists that Julian Dicks is being looked at for the Corby job

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.
