Liverpool ticket arrangements is starting to bore me! Seems quite a few Cobblers making their way down to North Hants by train on Saturday...White Lion..for real ales and a MOD (Lambretta styley) theme pub. 15-20 min walk away from (dodgy) Crimea pub and Rec...on the Ash Vale side of town. See ya there!

Couldn't make Hartlepool on Tuesday so took the Aldershot-POxford game 2-0. Stood in with the Shot fans who surprised me with their variety of songs and number of singers/clappers along with their drummer (who wasn't bad). I am used to the drums at Borussia and actually like them if played correctly and with coordination. Not a bad match actually, I don't know how many of each sides first teamers were playing but the one player who stood out, everything was through him: Luke Guttridge - I though that he was outstanding, hopefully he doesn't reproduce that performance on Saturday. Hylton and Straker were lively up front and worked the Poxford defence well.

Their Offy site says 243, I couldn't rightly see looking across but they tried to respond to the Shots "Ultra's" singing but the noise projects out and not across. I notice that our/their Razor is the official guest at the match on Saturday so he should receive a good shout from both sets of fans.

Went last year and it's one ground I wouldn't mind going back to but unfortunately my wallet is saying otherwise atm. An enjoyable s***hole and the breeding center of chavs and other strange creatures that are funny to have a laugh at.

With the last encounter at Sixfields being a feisty affair and both teams needing a win it looks like it could be more of the same on saturday
With a large NTFC contingent expected and the home fans as voiciferous as ever housed in the same terracing a great atmosphere is expected

Thats not bad, but seeing it's a saturday and you lot need a win to kickstart your season I would of thought a few more might attend and try and cheer the team to victory, you brought nearly that much on a night game last season

Wouldn't expect more than 300 away fans.
It was almost that last season..on a rainy windswept night...though was first time we'd played them for a few years - if that has any bearing on matters! 312

It might be worth the trip on Saturday just to see Rodgers attempt to play at left back He gets his feet mixed up half the time when playing right back so seeing him at left back could be comical.

For what it's worth, I rate Rodgers..seems the player to have a go at...sorted at Reading I thought. More worried about the re-emergence of Dunn...and no..I don't apolgise for slating him!

Playing at left back was the making of Rodgers last season. I think it was the first time he appreciated that he had to concentrate and be disciplined. And in all fairness, although the lad moves in a unique, uncoordinated fashion and dicks about a bit too much on the ball, he doesn't seem to be the cause of many goals conceded.

I think he gets a bad press unduly most of the time, I grant you sometimes he can be poor but he is not alone with our lot at the moment.

Turns out the "why not" is a birthday party invitation for the grandson who'd rather go there than watch the Cobblers. I'm finding it hard to disagree.
