The young un's got a result against Posh. Maybe I'm clutching at straws, but after Hartlepool, the transfer-window and the injuries, it's good something went our way.

some of the younger lads did well at stevenage today as well,so maybe thats no big deal but as i,ve posted elsewhere thats the future and as crackers is showing it will bear fruit. Our club has for many years lacked any kind of serious youth set up, but for the last four years rather than just pay lip service to it, the Cardozas have overseen a massive improvemnt in that area

I heard a rumour that the youth system has to find its own funds and the right people aren't being given the credit they deserve for raising funds.

While we are on the subject of the youth team could I say a very big thank you to Dalepak and Mick White for being so generous with sponsorship of our youth system aswell, of course, as anyone else that contributes. It means so much to many supporters to see home grown players breaking into the first team.

Under 13,s keeper, it,s his first season so we,re all very proud and he,s very nervous!. He,s a sth so it really is a bit of a dream to actually put on the shirt ( albeit at youth level) and represent the club. His brother and him used to stand on the weedon rd and bend bunny,s ear when they saw him walking to training a few years ago and now his goalkeeping coach at the club calls him little bunny. It really would be something for a bonafide lifelong fan to one day swap the weststand for the no1 shirt, we can only dream!

Good luck to the young lad, nothing would make me happier than a genuine Cobblers fan making it through the ranks

Just a thought people, sponsorship packages for the youth scheme start at £250, maybe a group from this forum might consider clubing together?
