Crossroads in his career? Certainly seems that way to me. Big year for him, being an England fan i hope he really kicks on and forgets his troubles, being a Man Utd hater i also hope he implodes.

The Everton fans are going to get some mileage after him backing out of todays game. Good luck to them.

It is a strange one to leave him out totally.

Obviously he would have got hammered by the fans, but he does there anyway. I'd have played him, man up son and get on with it.

Like Alan Green said on Radio Five, it now means he is open season at every other league ground when wearing the ManUre red... Roll Eyes

Various Sunday red top papers are saying he is off to Real Madrid in January as an escape route & it seems his naughtiness is on film Undecided

Lots of chat on R5 about his ManU career potentially over - which clubs would go for him? Can't imagine him in Europe or London to be frank....

Couldnt keep up with Torres in the end, one minute he was fit and playing, the next he was hobbling off injured again. Doesnt seem like much has changed on that front.

Send him out on loan to Rushden or somewhere. Let him sit there, be threatened by the so called Rushden mafia and then see what playing footy for a living is all about!

*there is no evidence to confirm or deny Rushden are run by the mafia except for a rumour started by Leon knight on twitter
