Would be rather disappointing if we took less than 1,000 with the form we're in

Too right - "If I was saying we needed 15 new players, there would be panic stations, but that isn't the case." - anyone care to guess how many new names were in last night's squad compared with the game at the Kassam...? Eerie.

Who's going to be left back on Saturday - isn't Widdowson now suspended? Charles...?

Hopefully it is 7 days after the 5th booking, so he misses the JPT match against Orient. 2 or 3 of our group who were undecided for the local Oxford game are now going because they can see the effort the team are putting in....and getting the results. I am sure we will get well over 1,000 make the short journey down the A43.

I'd plump for Tozer.

Well , Ben has played virtually everywhere else on the field so wouldnt be surprised. What a great servant to the club he is proving to be.

Bans now start at the next game not after 7 days.... I'm sure the club know the rules.... They tweeted this during last nights game Northampton Town @ntfc Joe Widdowson has just received his 5th booking of the season and misses the trip to Oxford this Saturday

Tozer was a disaster at LB under Johnson. I would go 3-5-2 with Charles at left CB and push Tozer into midfield. Someone like ishmael could be wing back, east on the right. Hackett just off Bayo. Robinson on the bench.

We should just keep it simple and not change the shape of the team after recent results. Logic would have tozer and LB with east back in at right back. Or Charles in at LB. We want to try and not play too many people out of position. Where's corker when you need him.

I take it you weren't at Gillingham away last season then? If you weren't, I'll save you the time. We discovered that Tozer is not a left back.

I'd like to see more of Moult. He was outstanding in the first half against Port Vale, ok the fact he's a Stoke fan might have gee'd him up a bit but at least it showed us what he is capable of. He was also very unlucky to have a great goal chalked off on Tuesday because of an inept ref.

After our recent good form I'm looking forward to this one. It can't be as bad as the previous two seasons.
Hoping to be in Oxford city centre for around midday, probably be drinking in The Chequers
