Im just curious what people think is out best possible 11 if everyone is fit? With all the changes due to injury, and the successful venture into 5-3-2 there could be quite a split in opinion.

I personally would go for.
                             Nicholls
            Johnson Artell Langers Widdowson
                              Harding
          Hackett Huws Gutts Demontagnac
                                Bayo

Im aware ishmael wouldnt necessarily be a popular choice, but i really rate him, and hope after yesterdays good performance will now kick on!

I'd want Alex Nicholls in due to his goal scoring record.  It won't be long before Lewis Hornby becomes a no-brainer.

Cut him some slack three ........ we all have opinions,  be interested to hear yours instead of picking fault with others ......

For me from what i have seen

Higgs
East
Widdowson
Langers
Tozer

JJ

Hackett
Harding
Gutts

Bayo
Nicholls

That said .... We still need a decent centre half who can run / jump and a proper holding midfield player who can dictate the game.

IMHO

Its interesting to see people picking Johnson in their eleven. In my eyes he's been going backwards as a player for sometime now at a time when he should be improving. Personally I can't see where his career is going at this moment. Where as with East I can see getting better with every game. For me, I'd definately have him ahead of Johnson.

Probably spot on - also JJ seems to get injured fairly consistently. I would not be surprised if his contract is not renewed.

Ok, I'm going to pick a team made up of our players and our players only:

Higgs

Johnson
Langmead
Artell
Tozer
Widdowson

Hackett
Harding
Hornby

Bayo
Nicholls

Subs: Snedker, charles, Gutts, demoniac, platt, moult, Robinson.

I dont think he has been right for a while mate.

About two seasons by my reckoning. Definitely not the player he was in his first season.

If everyone is fit I would go for the following. Reasons, we need Tozer in the team, but he is not a CM, the two full backs are very good on the ball, so get them further forward, also we only ever seem to have successful seasons when playing a back 3

..............................Nicholls............................

............Tozer.......Langmead.......Artell................
East..................................................Widdowson

..................Hornby.............Harding........................

.............................Guttridge................................

.................Nicholls...............Bayo............................

Subs
Higgs
Huws
Moult
Hackett
Platt
Plus 2

Actually now I am struggling to get Hackett in the team and keep it balanced, and I also like Huws and Moult, but he could slot in for any of the 3 in midfield cause one will generally be either injured or suspended. With a the formation Boothroyd prefers 4-2-3-1 I would go with

................................Nicholls................................

East.............Langmead...........Tozer.........Widdowson

..................Hornby.............Harding.........................

Hackett....................Guttridge....................Nicholls

................................Bayo.................................

Subs
Higgs
Johnson
Moult
Platt
Artell
Plus 2

If everyone was fit, I'd go with this:

5-3-2
Nicholls
JJ - Artell - Langmead - Tozer - Widdowson
Hornby - Harding - Gutts
Bayo - Nicholls

However, given the current situation I'll go with this:
4-3-1-2
Nicholls
East - Langmead - Tozer - Widdowson
Hornby - Harding - Huws
Hackett
Bayo - Moult.

Would have Robbo on the bench as a super-sub option, didn't do a lot on Saturday but changed the game against Accrington.

So your full strength team wouldn't have Hackett in it?

Not if we play 5 at the back, no. If we only play 4 at the back then he'd be in the team.

The problem isn't his talent, it's that the 5-3-2 doesn't contain wingers. I feel that in the last few weeks the 5-3-2 has been our best formation, so the players should fit the system rather than the other way round.

Would you say Hornby doesn't deserve to be in the team then?

EDIT: I believe today's signing would justify my point that you need players to fit the system, if we do go back to the formation which worked fantastically against Port Vale.
