I went to see Peter Kay last night at the M.E.N.

I've never seen him live before, only on Channel 4 or dvd. Wasn't really sure what to expect to be honest as I have always had the opinion that once you have seen one Peter Kay stand up gig you have seen them all. I know others who have shared this opinion.

Last night really changed my mind. His material was fresh and new, using the fact that people have this view of his previous jokes to his advantage by taking the p*ss out of himself at times.

Really enjoyued it and if you have tickets, you will love it!

Rick Astley was pretty good too.  Cheesy

Got tickets for Peter Kay...although for October 2011!!!! It was either pay over the odds for tickets this year off Ebay etc or Pay standard ticket price off Ticketmaster for 2011!

Also got tickets for Russell Howard, Jason Manford and Lee Mack this year, looking forward to all 3 although unsure about Lee Mack.
