Boothroyd likes him, but he has not really had a chance to flourish in his best position yet. Think he is avaerage, but the suggest is he has the right attidude and wants to improve, so he is worth keeping around because he may develop into a player who has plenty to offer.

He hasn't shown much this season where he's floundered at right back and mostly looked a bit lost out on the wing, however I remember the couple of appearances he made at the end of last season in his natural position up front. He scored one chance and fluffed a couple more, but importantly was getting himself into exactly the right positions to make those chances. Technique comes with coaching and composure and confidence can come with time, but the ability to find those sort of positions in the heat of play is instinctive and it's what sets good strikers apart. For that alone, I think he could develop into a decent player and going out and getting games can only help with that development.

A decent player who looks like he could be good for us in the future, not all that this season but he is a striker and not a full back or a midfielder. Scored on his first start last season and as said before you can't teach forwards to get in those predatory positions, and playing at a level where he will probably be much quicker than the defenders will help him for sure.

7 in 7... Think that justifies my post on this thread!
Would like to see him farmed out to someone like Brackley or Corby next who both play in the next league up.

Lewis had a decent goals to games ratio at the poppies - yeah I know it was only the southern league and it is way down the non league ladder -but I hope the loan spell has instilled a bit of confidence in him and the game time and goals have given him experience to be an impact sub in the run in

This recall is a bad move for the player. Aidy is wrong on this one. Wilson's head will not be turned by success at Kettering; he is far too sensible for that; but continuing the loan would be a great way for him to continue polishing his trade. He could always have been recalled in an emergency. Keeping our bench warm is a poor second.Rough on Wilson, rough on Kettering, and it looks bad all round. The goal is the same size at all levels.

If we don't need him at the moment I would like to see him now go to a higher league than Kettering on loan. Much the same as West Brom did with Berahino and us last season. Us (league 2) Brentford (league 1) then the Posh scum (Championship), gradually building him up.

Problem is that if you play to far below your required standard for to long you pick up bad habits etc, a great loan for the lad but a second loan higher up the non league ladder would do him more good in the future. Prem clubs don't like their players playing D4 football for to long for the same reason, once they start kicking people back they get them out of here.

I believe he will be lent out again but to a club at a higher level,Corby bracelet or possibly Nuneaton?

My guess is that he'll stay until the end of January for squad depth in case of any sudden departures and because we just lost 2 loanees (Smith is irrelevant). I believe that at BSN Level there are no transfer windows (albeit from Football Manager experience, though they're normally accurate for league rules). Therefore my guess is that we'll send him to Brackley or Corby, although he may experience some stiff competition for a starting berth at Brackley, home of goal machine Gary Mulligan...
I also have a feeling that Snedker may get a chance to go on loan for a month or two as well, provided that Wigan don't recall Nicholls.
