Aidy has been scouting a lot for new players apparently. I've been told that he has been to a particular non league ground more than once and if that turns out to be correct then I think mr akinfenwa may well have been the subject of some interest. Does anyone else know which grounds AB has been visiting??
Yes .....

Derek Riordan? Has hardly set league two alight so far but is playing in a poor Bristol Rovers side and his class shone through against us at times. Out of contract in January and I think he's in the Alex Nicholls mould. If he rediscovered his form here we could even be looking at a reasonable transfer fee, you'd tend to think of him as washed-up or a has-been but he's only 29 still.

Taking the title of this thread, can you get "official rumours"? Is there such a thing ?

It's a really interesting shout, but I thought he just wasn't very good against us at Brizzle.

He's gone off the boil in the last 18 months but I've seen him play a number of times for Hibs as my dad is a Hibs fan, and when he's on his game he's unplayable. An extremely clever footballer of the sort I think would thrive off the carnage Bayo creates. He wasn't that great when we played Bristol Rovers but he's not used to the kind of service that they're giving him. Even so, he still managed to lay on a goal and get Anthony Charles sent off by leaving him with no option other than to take him out.

There's no way bayo is going. Id be surprised if anyone came in, maybe 1 striker. Aside from that I can see 1, maybe 2 go out on loan.

AFC Wimbledon's attacking wide player Jolley who is on loan at Blue Sq prem leaders Newport, 8 goals in 8
He's now being chased by a host of clubs, AFCW want 50k. Just watched some you tube footage and he's a bit special.

Thought I read somewhere that he has been in some different kind of form! maybe it was in Scotland.

If he has been off the boil for the last 18 months for a current league two team then i suggest he is never going to make it, playing siht football north of the border in a tinpot league doesnt count.

He's only been at Bristol Rovers for about 2-3 months, before that he was playing for St Johnstone for a few months and before that he was in China. And even outside the top 2 (top 1 as it is now), the SPL is a higher standard than League Two.

Not so sure about that. Kenny Deuchar, Andy Kirk, Giles Coke and now Billy McKay were all average league 1/league 2 players yet heroes in the Scotish Prem

Derek Riordans " form " looks poor on and off the field. His record makes Ishy's asbo look like a slap on the wrist.

Living near Wimbledon I've seen a lot of Jolley. We don't want him. One week he's good, the next 4 he's trash.
