Pathetic. Roll Eyes Giving Abramovich, Bruce Buck and Benitez stick is one thing, but booing one of your own players who is genuinely trying his best, while the game is actually in progress...well, words fail me.

Its not just Chelsea fans who boo their own players I have heard Cobblers fans booing Cobblers players at Sixfields (Ryan Gilligan, Steve Guinan etc.)

Constantine, Trollope, Gilligan and many more come to mind... All booed..

Yep, poor behaviour from our supporters on those occasions. I'm all for booing players off if they've had a shocker, but during the game it's not going to help anything is it?!  Angry

Trollope was a bit before my time, I remember Leon being booed but then I don't think he can say that he was genuinely giving it 100%, and most of our fans usually responded by chanting his name as I recall, and I heard individuals shouting abuse at Gilligan but I never heard collective booing. I don't think our fans are particularly bad for that kind of thing. It's a relatively small minority at Sixfields but it seemed to be a majority of Chelsea fans booing Torres and giving him abuse the other night.

Horrible lot the Chelsea fans. I sat in the shed end on numerous occasions during the 90's, as my mate and his old man were season ticket holders. The racism was rife even during the late 90's, but I'm not talking about opposition players. Myers, Newton and Stein were regularly abused and even Gullit was a target because of his colour believe it or not!

Anyway, it's been a great couple of weeks for English football, they miss out on Guardiola, and now Benitez has done the impossible and got possibly their most talented attacking side ever knocked out by the mighty Swansea.

Can't wait until Roman dumps the fcukers, they'll be back in The Championship where they belong  Grin Grin

In addition to racism I believe that we should kick ballboys out of football....... Oh I see Chelski are taking the lead on that one.... Tongue

Who was the keeper who was effing and blinding at the ballboy in front of the North stand, after he threw the ball at him rather than to him? Been bugging me all morning!

EDIT: Maybe Steve Phillips??
