The real stat of the night and one for future quiz questions must be for how many different coloured balls used in a game. We started with yellow. Changed after about 20 mins to orange. That went out into their wonderful no stand end and they threw on the yellow again. That went out so they threw on a white ball and eventually managed to get the orange one back Don't know how true it is, but I've heard it suggested that the ref wanted the game to be played with an orange ball. Aldershot only had one, so the ref said yellow would do at a pinch. Started with yellow as they had two of them. When both the orange and yellow balls went out of the ground, white was all that was left until someone went to fetch them back.

Another selection of thoughts:
We were fantastic and battled all over the park. Took a while to adjust to the conditions but once we'd done that we were the better side. Guttridge was awesome, along with Robinson who worked tirelessly all night. They were all great and it was a massive win.
And yeah, the atmosphere in the away end was quality most of the game, especially at the end when the players were celebrating over in our little pocket of the ground.
Massive performance, massive win.

Awesome atmosphere, seemed like more than 142? Bring back terracing. Voice is a bit croaky this morning, haven't sung like that through a whole match since standing on the Hotel.

A great night with a great atmosphere. It did feel like an old fashioned game even down to standing on Hotel End-like terraces. Hope that after we go up we draw Aldershot in one of the cups, and get a chance to go back. Like the way the pub and the terraces are linked by a walk through the haunted woods. After the scoreboard fused and went blank, we helpfully sang "2-1 to the visitors" and of course the song "we glow in the snow" will go down in legend ! And of course the mini-Anfield at the end with players and supporters applauding each other, and then seeing Bayo's tweet on the way home; "@daRealAkinfenwa Shout out to all the fans dat came out 2night to support us in the snow great support great win the luv will always be strong #BMO"

My throat is still sore after last night. It's the first time in a long while I can remember us singing as one throughout an entire game. It really was a massive effort from all of us there and the 11 on the pitch.
It's definitely a game that will live long in my memory and having captured the build up and moment of Clarke's goal on video, I won't be able to forget it! I might have to upload that to YouTube at some point.

Great video thanks BA, watched it a dozen times already. It sums up perfectly why we all keep going.

Two thoughts on the video;
1. Butch, you look better with a full on beard. 2. Why weren't you lot out on the open terrace on the side? It wasn't even that cold you big girls blouses.

Great vid, I was stood right behind you. Side terrace wasn't open....which probably forced us all together under the shed with better acoustics... The Aldershot Ultra's were embarrassingly quiet...

Yea, Butch has piled the pounds on! It was odd how the 'Ultras' drum only appeared after the hour mark. Unforgettable night. UTC!
