Just read most of that, makes you appreciate supporting a lower league side, they have 20 posts covering a couple of minutes, how on earth do they keep up?

Hodgsons latest interview.....he just can't forget about us!!!

Roy Hodgson has learnt a harsh lesson with Liverpool's Carling Cup exit to Northampton.

Hodgson has admitted he made a mistake in not having some of his big names on the bench against Northampton to help turn the game around when the youngsters were staring defeat in the face. It's a mistake he has learnt from, with Fernando Torres named in the Europa League squad for the first time this season, for tonight's game with FC Utrecht.

"If you're playing against Northampton and it's 1-1 and you're not playing very well, and you're desperate to change the game around, and then you look around and you realise you've given all the first-team players time off - maybe that's one of the things that has affected my thinking," said the boss.

"I learned a lot of things last week!"

Nice to see our little Clubs performance has caused such an impact on one of the big boys!  Grin

Totally agree. It still gets me that he refers to his youngsters getting beaten by us, when the average age of our team was the same, if not younger than his. Never mind, I guess he has got far more to worry about at the moment
