Whoever we get, it should be same sort of policy of ST holders, Members etc

There are real fans who weren't able to get to Liverpool but will go all the time, they should still have first priority over the daytrippers

Yeah definatly agree with that , i was sat in block 126 and no one would sing in the first quater of the game which annoyed me. As the game went on every one started joining in and the atmosphere was f***ing immense , it actually sends shivers down my spine listening to the cobblers songs on lfctv.

That was probably me! Being a 40 year old now it takes a bit to get me going but once we scored I was singing along with the best of them.

I don't think anyone around me wasn't singing and getting into it, bar the 2 guys next to me who were clearly Liverpool fans, you know who you are in block 122!!

Just spoken to mate who is in the Navy, was gutted he was at sea and couldn't make the game, informed there were some good celebrations on their ship though  Grin

I dunno what all this bollocks about part time fans is about, you do realise it isn't the exact same 4300 at Sixfields every week don't you? Some people work some weeks, some don't. Some might have their kids on certain weekends, some might play football themselves some weeks. The support changes week by week, people just made sure they got out of their commitments for this match.

This marks an astonishing turnaround from your "Wembley attendances were the most embarassing thing in the history of this club; 42,000 supporters, 38,000 daytrippers" comments you have been making for yonks. Wink

I know of a loada people who went up on Wednesday, very rarely been before and will probably rarely go again. It could be a good thing as they then might start actually following us. Only problem i woulda had with them is if there weren't enough tickets to go round and they snapped them up when some real supporters didnt

GPC-You are wrong in your opinion for an away match. Season ticket holders should ALWAYS have first chance for tickets ahead of people who went to one game!(ie Liverpool).

Correct...cant believe I didnt put that anyway!! Thats a "perk" of the season ticket...so no problem. It does of course throw my "rewarding" Liverpool ticket holders theory out of the window....whats to stop 2000 s/t holders buying their tickets, and giving their LFC stubs to their mates to let them jump in second?!

Note the difference between the numbers 4300 and 38,000

The woman behind me said she hadn't been to Cobblers since we won at Wemberly, then said she was a Saints fan. Slightly glory hunting there, but oh well, supporting local sport and that.
