Well I'm running out of lives in the Drilling household with all the away games I've been to. Both sets of parents have also commented on it infront of Mrs Drilling which hasnt helped my cause either.

The thing is, over the years I have always justified away games if they are important and doing well, or if we need the points to stay up towards the end of a season. So in recent years, October through to March has seen me only head off on the odd away jolly which has largely gone unnoticed. This year do far I've been to chesterfield, Rotherham, gillingham and Southend and I'm going this evening. My away game policy as such is under heavy scrutinisation. It doesn't seem to matter how many time I try to explain that if we win we could go 3rd
Either because sadly she doesn't seem
To appreciate the significance of it all. Bellies in time I guess!

Hopefully we can carry on our decent record against AFCW.

Until the sending off we looked a lot more solid playing 3 at the back on Saturday (something I've been banging on about for a couple of seasons now).

Anyone know somewhere decent to park around the ground?

Really looking forward to this, a new ground and hopefully a good atmosphere, but its a huge game.

A win, and we are right back up there having won back to back away games. A loss and we are hanging on to the playoffs, still struggling away from home.

Aidy is taking a catious approach to the game, and perhaps rightly so as Wimbeldon have taken points off some of the better teams at home. BUT, they are bottom of the table for a reason. We are near the top for a reason. I'd quite like him to be a little less respectful in a way and say "we should be winning this game if we harbour promotion hopes". Tell the players that they should win this, they are big boys and shouldnt feel any pressure, and should be given the confidence to know that we are the better team.

Anyway, I think we need to be going for the win tonight. Im hoping for a 4-4-2 and getting at them, rather than the defence minded approach at Southend, which only just worked because they were down to 10 men. I imagine Wimbeldon will also fancy their chances, and if both teams line up to attack, you'd have to say that we are better equipped to take the 3 points, regardless of being away from sixfields.

Yeah, there's been a nice cluster of southern away games. See you at Exeter.

According to their web site bars are open to visiting fans. Is it easy to park around the ground? Hope Bayo, Collins, Robinson and Hornby are starting but can't see it.

According to their web site bars are open to visiting fans.

That's right - apparently Wimbledon decide on a match-by-match basis whether to allow visiting supporters into their bars, and as we are thirsty, friendly and many in number we get the green light.

"The bars will be open from 5.30 pm and visiting supporters will be allowed in the bar areas."

Also "The Paul Strank Stand and the Tempest End are both sold out. We still have a limited number of tickets left for the Nongshim Stand and places left in the East Stand. Though this match is not all-ticket we expect this to be a popular match." This is partly because a lot of tickets were bought when it was orginally scheduled for Boxing Day but mainly because the Wimbledon massive want to see the boys in lime green (the best they've ever seen).

0 - 3 Platt hat trick. That would make 7 in the league?

Platt hat-trick = Plattrick!

Interesting team news tonight! Im aware we need to rest players but a midfield of Widdowson- Hornby- Tozer- Demontagnac is certainly interesting. CM battle is going to be huge tonight! like the Bayo-Roy combo up top!
