Hopefully it puts her off for life and doesn't encourage her to continue to follow you to matches.  That would be a nightmare!!  Shocked
Mission accomplished in that repect.
She works in early years child development, and said that she could see a broad spectrum of "problems" in quite a high percentage of our support.
However as we turned out to be staying in the same hotel as the squad, she took quite a shine to JJ.
Apparently "He looks dangerous.." Who knew?

Disapointing result for the Cobblers and Exeter deserved to win as they took their chances. We didn't really get going until we conceded the 2nd goal. On another day one of those chances goes in and at 2-1 with 15 minutes to go anything could have happened.

Aside from the football it was a good day out in Exeter. Some decent real ales in The Great Western, The Bowling Green and The Wells Tavern before and after the game.

It was the Mercure Southgate, and I can report they drank nothing stronger than tea, and were all on their best behaviour.
Didn't bloody help come 3 though. Sad

Very large amounts of booze consumed in alot of pubs  Grin Started in The Wetherspoons, then off to Farmers Union, both very good, Loco' next which was quite poor, King Billy was just a step in the door then turn around and walked out, nipped across to the Black Horse which again was good, Finished off in the Wells just before kick off.
After the game did the same pubs ,missing out the  crap ones, in reverse order  Cheesy
After a meal tried out Great Western which was a bit of a sticky floor pub ! then across the road to the Jolly Porter before going back to the hotel for a couple before bed.
A long day but a great trip. A proper away day  Grin
