Ive just been watching MOTD and have to say that I think I have more pride in Mark Bunn than any other ex Cobbler who has gone on to make it in the top flight.
Most other players have dropped down or side stepped before moving up but Bunny moved straight up and onto better things. We have seen others like Morison, B Johnson and Lee Williamson and you do take a certain amount of pride with these but Bunns career is one most of us have followed since he was a youngster with us.
Surely its a matter of time before he gets an England squad place?

I still like Bradley Johnson but I must confess to having a soft spot for Bunny, probably because he is a genuine product of our youth system. I still follow Kyle Walker's career with interest too. I know he was never "our" player but he always seems like a genuinely decent guy who still mentions us quite regularly in interviews. Also, I said after his first few games with us that I thought he'd be a future England international so he gives me to opportunity to be smug...  Grin

I was on way back home on the tube last night and some lads saw I was a Cobblers fan and they were from the same school as Crakers and really proud of him.  They did seem shocked though that I went all the way to Exeter.

I think you'll find we got him from Spurs when he was about 18 or 19. One of a number that CC signed from his stint as youth team manager at Spurs  Wink

I'm watching Bunny on MOTD now and taking delight in his saves. I adore seeing ex-Cobbs doing well and I really hope Bunny goes on to even bigger things.
