We should probably have been 2 goals up before they admittedly had a lot of the play in the last 30 mins.

Fans should remember that walking let alone running against that wind and snow was hard work. This became obvious as I walked back to my car.
Even so we still had the best chance of the game in Bayo's miss. That wind increased in the second half - Oxford never poised much of a threat apart from final 10 mins. The better side won - simple as.

Better feature on the Cobblers on Late Kick Off last night, with opinions from Ian Atkins.

To be fair to the guy it was the his own players inability to score a goal that he described as "scandalous" rather than the normal blame the ref or opposition which most managers go for.

That's usual fare for Oxford fans, never mind the manager, to blame the ref...something they are doing wholesale on their Yellows Forum. Yes, Guttridge was tossed several yards it seemed...can laugh about it now!  Grin
