The top half of league 2 and the bottom half of league 1...not a huge difference defender and midfield wise. The big difference is with the forwards.
If we go up then then we should look at evolvement, not revolution...no different than if we stay in league2. To realistically push at the top end of league1 you need a budget of at least 2 million...circa 800k more than we currently spend. The core of our squad is good enough and young enough to make the step up to the bottom half of the league above, which would be the next natural level. You also benefit from the momentum a Promotion brings. When we last went up we really struggled initially because of the change of manager plus having a completely new team. And don't forget the quarter of Hornby, Snedker, Moyo and Diaz...
