I have got a soft spot for Bury fc so I sincerely hope they survive.  The older generation of Cobblers fans will know that there is a genuine friendship between ourselves and the Shakers after Shrewsbury 1992

I dont think they ever thought we would get the win to see them in the play off, then they fooked it up getting beat in the semis.

So annoying that this Bury thing has hardly been mentioned as the media seem more worried about Portsmouth who have run up massive debts twice and now seem as if they expect the latest debt to be written off / paid to a minimum so they can then spend their way out of the lower leagues to their “rightful” place at the top table of football. Bury look like going under for £1 million Portsmouth with receive a £3 million parachute payment from the PL soon. I know if there were two collection buckets going round which one my cash would go into.
I do however hope both clubs survive I’d hate any club (apart from the MocKneys) to go bust but I do wish they would pay their bills especially their taxes as I have enough of my own to pay without their unpaid amounts being added.

They shoke in their boots today as they didn't have enough room for all the Oldham fans.
