At this stage and with their precarious position they need wins not draws. It's too many draws that's put them in this position. I think they would take a point but its not what they need. Open up the game and let's play.

I agree, such a shame what happened to Dave Longhurst. Good to see that York City have a stand named after him. I think a 'There's only one Dave Longhurst' chant would be a nice touch as I'm sure York fans will join in! |

Early goal, if ever we needed an early goal...
As has already been said I can see York parking the bus for a 0-0 so if we're going to score the later the better as when away teams have gone behind and almost forced into attacking, they've looked threatening and it seems to have been more down to luck than judgement that we've actually been able to hold onto some of our wins. That said I'm hoping we really go for it today and don't go into defensive mode if we go 1-0 up. Personally would be tempted to play the two big men up front with O'Donovan replacing Demontagnac out wide and Guttridge coming back in for some increased creativity, as if they are going to be defensive then I can see us getting a lot of set pieces and chances to get crosses over. |

The Gutts saga is a whole mystery to me. Before his injury wasn't he MOM a few times? Even the playoffs, as results stand right now, don't look very secure.
