Diego Maradona has been sacked from his role as manager of United Arab Emirates side Al Wasl after 14 months in charge.

As a really silly bet Nottingham Forest were bought out yesterday by the Al-Hasawi family so you never know could Maradona end up there?  Shocked

Hard to believe (no really) that we are only 3/4 games into the season and already 2 league managers have gone so soon, I can sort of see the reasoning behind Chesterfield losing all their games but Thorn had not (yet) lost at Cov, not the best results but a points a point .

I think the Wimbledon decision is based upon the fact that they were in free fall for the second half of last season, and they know just how much of a disaster relegation would be following all their effort to get into the league.
