Irvine at WBA seems to be a totally bizarre decision.

It would have made more sense to appoint Aidy or even Gary Johnson.

I see they are 3-1 for relegation. Looks a dead cert.

Indeed a strange appointment, but even more bizarre is the speculation that Dave Hockaday is set to land the role as head coach at Leeds  Huh?  Shocked

The new Leeds Head Coach is the former Forest Green manager, but he is such an unknown that I can't remember his name.  I'm sure he is cheaper than Brian McDermott.  Maybe Ken Bates wasn't such a bad owner by comparison.

Interesting, they're not keen on failure the Italians. Whereas the FA pat each other on the back, say carry on Roy you are doing a fine job. Meanwhile they pay a cockney spiv from the entertainment and television industry (who openly stated he supports Brentford and Man Utd at the same time)a nice little QUANGO to come up with a joke solution to all England's problems that involves crushing everything from Premier League downwards. Face facts here we are sh!t but do you know what? We don't care, it's only a circus to break up the summer.
Cobblers back to training tomorrow a bright(er) season to look forward to as well so who honestly will care about England's plight come the beginning of August?
No-one
Well no-one but those FA bigwigs who will be scared stiff of having their next freeloading jolly to foreign shores cut short by the team getting knocked out!

If you don't mind I'll start this thread going with the news that Avram Grant leaves Portsmouth with the press guessing he'll be next in at West Ham United Huh?

Aidie Boothroyd leaves Colchester United to take the Manager's job at Coventry City.

Interesting to pull up the first post in this thread isn't it?

Tony Pulis has left Crystal Palace a day before the season opener against Arsenal.

It seems that he has fell out out with the chairman over transfers.

They may have just got themselves relegated after that..........
