Newcastle have parted company with Chris Hughton

http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20101206/united-part-company-with-hughton_2281670_2237950

I personally hope the board get what they deserve now, Gary Megson and relegation!

Agree - what a disgrace, but then this sums up Newcastle perfectly. Hopefully they will now capitulate towards relegation again

Im loving this , my friend is a Newcastle fan who is from southsheilds and his dad supports sunderland. He is adament that southshields is newcastle and he shouldnt support the same team as his dad.

So i just cant wait for the club to go in to turmoil so i can rip this piss out of him again , i was starting to get worried by all the normality surrounding the club. Then 'BANG' out of no where mike ashley is back on form

I feel for Chris Hughton he has done a decent job at Newcastle imo I'm sure the Toon Army would want him to stay especially as they hammered Sunderland the other week

Agreed, that alone should have bought him another year or so.....very harsh......seems they were never convinced with him from the outset. Hope they get relegated now.

Goals on Sunday (5th Dec) with Kammy and Ben 'Shepherd'?, they were interviewing a certain manager and showing pictures of him 'performing' on the touchline and as it got to one particular picture he commented "yes, that was during the worst moment in my entire career so far"  Who/Where/When?Huh?

FIVE AND A HALF YEARS! Ok, so we all know he'll be gone in 18 months max, but this just shows how stupid Mike Ashley really is. NUFC = JOKE

It's said a strong chairman never takes the easy option and panders to the whims of the fans. At least you can't accuse Ashley of being weak.
Hughton was never going to get them anywhere above mid table. He was going to go when his contract was up anyway so there was no point having him hanging around - Calderwood knew that.
