Kevin Nolan sacked at Notts County.

That's three managers already sacked this season after four league games. It's a cut throat business.

Kewell sacked already .

Sol Campbell appointed manager at Macclesfield.
I usually hope ex players get on well as managers but also hate arrogance. After his "one of the greatest minds in football" and saying how "it isnt rocket science to run a club, especially at that level" referring to league 1 Oxford, I hope he doesnt make it to the end of the season

With hindsight, a very good decision.

Shame I met Hughesie while he was in charge at Stoke. Really nice fella but I sure he'll be back in Management soon.

Hopefully Colin will have the defenders well organised and make them hard to beat,

I wonder if 6 years of being an assistant has changed his philosophy so it will be interesting to see if he adopts the same style as he had here when it all began or not.

Quite sad really that he's not been a manager for a while, after the start he made to his managerial career with us I always thought he would establish himself as a top League One manager or a mid table Championship manager, never imagined he would step back and be a number two but learning the methods of others should have given him a few more strings to add to his bow so fingers crossed for him and wishing him all the best.

Gary Johnson named Torquay's new manager

Still unbeaten in the league since he took over....attracted a decent crowd of 3863 to yesterdays game.

Good to see Torquay having a bit of success.
