When in reality they belong at the last stop on Blackpools tram line. When the owner pulls the plug, they will last six months. If that.
And why would anybody want to bankroll a club there in the first place? Tiny town, next door to Blackpool, no history, no infrastructure, no decent pubs, No railway station. Although you can get the tram. Reminds me of Irthlingborough, but without the sea breeze.

Frank Lampard sacked by Chelsea ! who are they going to get who's any better  Huh?

Asking our resident Chelsea expert "Terry", is it the right decision? you obviously follow Chelsea a lot closer than most on here, do the fans agree ?

Pretty harsh and the majority of the fans won't like that decision but easier when they aren't in the ground. It's a cut throat business!

Well, we have a few to catch up on in here....

Jason Tindall was sacked by Bournemouth and replaced on a caretaker basis by Jonathan Woodgate. The former Middlesbrough boss is doing a decent job, however Thierry Henry is new odds on favourite for the permanent role now.
Keith Curle was of course sacked by Northampton with Jon Brady taking over in caretaker charge, assisted by Marc Richards and Ian Sampson.
Paul Tisdale was sacked by Bristol Rovers on the same day.... again no permanent replacement there yet, Tommy Widdrington is holding the fort, Paul Cook is 2/1 favourite for the job.
Darrell Clarke left Walsall to take up the vacant managers position at Port Vale, Brian Dutton his former assistant at both Bristol Rovers and at Walsall was appointed Head Coach of the Saddlers until the end of the current season.
Now the other Bristol side, Bristol City are also managerless after Dean Holden was given his marching orders today, current Lincoln boss Michael Appleton is the early favourite, Paul Cook features again as does Eddie Howe. Current MK boss Russell Martin gets a mention in the list of possible replacements, as do Paul Simpson and Danny Cowley.

Perhaps indicative of the lack of managers with decent track records currently unemployed, AFC Wimbledon have today named their interim boss Mark Robinson as their new permanent Head Coach. Robinsons experience gained over 17 years at the club was the overriding factor behind his appointment.

Joey Barton takes over at Bristol Rovers, Nigel Pearson takes over at Bristol City following the sacking of Dean Holden.

Michael Jolley was sacked by Barrow after just seven games in charge, just one win but with the Barrow chairman citing "differing visions for how the team should play"

Steve Ball given the boot by Colchester......Ball only took over from John McGreal in the summer following Col U's semi final playoff defeat to Exeter. The U's are 21st in the table and without a win in 13 games.

Harry Kewell sacked at Oldham (7 managers in 3 years!)

Would not be surprised at all to see Curle appointed there & yet another Nicky Adams reunion!

Former Cobblers (caretaker for one game only) Manager Tim Flowers has left Barnet by mutual consent. His record of 1 win and 11 defeats in his 12 games in charge is not great!
