Three managerial casualties so far today.....

Nuno Espirito Santo has been removed as Tottenham Hotspur boss after just 124 days in charge.....8 wins from 17 games actually gave him a 47% win ratio, but that was deemed not good enough, although the style of play and lack of efforts on goal in the last two games can't have helped any!

Going one day longer was Markus Schoop who has been shown the door after 125 days in charge of Barnsley. His record was somewhat poorer than Santo's.... just one win from 16 games in charge for the Austrian who found Valerien Ismaels shoes too big to fill.

In our division Scunny have wielded the axe, Neil Cox's tenure has come to an end after just short of 15 months in charge, he won just 15 of 67 games for a win ratio of only 22%.

Prior to the McCarthy sacking at Cardiff we also saw Nigel Adkins sacked by Charlton (9 wins in 26 games over 7 months), Steve Bruce of course left Newcastle, Chris Beech left Carlisle after 22 months, Xisco Munoz managed almost a year at Watford before he was shown the door, Michael Flynn took Newport as far as he though he could in his 4 years and four months, and Chris Hughton exited Nottingham Forest in eleven months with 14 wins from 53 games.

Ian Culverhouse takes over at Ploppies.
Apparently they went through a lot of ex-footballers names from their 1970's Panini albums before they decided on him... Wink
