Roy Hodgson sacked by Crystal Palace. Replaced by Oliver Glasner ..
I don’t think this actually happened. TBF if there was an elderly chap who you were thinking about sacking, who was then hospitalised poorly, you’d probably move quickly to find a replacement. I’m sure they’ll take care of Roy and allow him to step down gracefully. The reason they haven’t announced it is no doubt out of respect.

Michael Beale sacked by Sunderland after just 12 matches. Hope they don't look at any candidates from League One.

Acknowledged, it was intended but had been delayed because of the circumstances. It has just been announced that he has 'stepped down'.

Just read that. Wasn't pulling you up DC and genuinely couldn't find it although the intent was all over the press. Regardless of whether they were sacking him, it has to be right for a chap of his age if he is struggling health wise. Hopefully the break from what must be a really stressful job will help his recovery. A very gracious exit statement too.

12 games played and four points off the play offs. Similar to when John Eustace was replaced by Rooney at Brum. And that didnt work out either. That is one brutal division. I am quite happy at the moment with league one mid table mediocrity . Man City, Leicester, Leeds, Forest, in fact most of that division I have seen us play league games at. And cup games for the rest. Play offs for us, possible promotion? Not till we get a significant windfall. Lets just sit tight, and let the b@stards come down to us. And they will continue to fall.

Valerien Ismael is the latest one to be shown the "less than one season in charge" policy at Watford. What a car crash of a club.

Boy Bingers has just told me (NB, not verified, so could be a FACT), that Watford have had more managers since 2019 than there have been Dalai Lamas since the 16th century.

Steve Evans and Paul Raynor are a good double act, both have now taken the reigns at the New York Stadium. Leam Richardson was given the boot by the Millers, Alex Revell is back in (temporary) charge of Stevenage. The only other one we missed in the last month or so was a quick end to Ian Fosters reign at Plymouth. These were the words of the chairman upon his appointment..... “I am thrilled to welcome a coach of Ian’s calibre to Plymouth Argyle as our new Head Coach. He was the perfect candidate to lead our great football club forward as we embark on our next five-year mission. Three months and five wins in 19 games later he was gone! Director of Football Neil Dewsnip has taken over.
