Seems strange (or idiotic) to have sacked and appointed a new manager, in order to rescue them, after the window has closed?

With his team in the bottom three of the Championship and after seven straight league defeats Paul Warne has been shown the exit door at Derby.

They've tried Lampard, they've tried Rooney.... odds on the next one being Gerrard?

Gary Monk leaves Cambridge. You'd think Jon Brady would be interested. His experience turning the Cobblers round and the issues that later arose would be invaluable.

Neil Harris is back at Cambridge, he left them for a return to Millwall but ended up leaving them again in December, now he’s back at The Abbey, with another former manager Mark Bonner appointed as the new DoF.

Clarke sacked by Barnsley and swiftly replaced by Conor Hourihane on an interim basis.

Clarkes sacking means over half of the teams in League 1 have changed manager this season.
