NICHOLLS
TOZER, CAMERON, CARLISLE, COLLINS
HACKETT, HORNBY, GUTTRIDGE, HARDING
BAYO, O'DONOVAN
subs, Snedker, Langmead, Johnson, Widdowson, Demontgnac, Platt, Moult
I think this line up will have better ball retention on the Wembley pitch and they are the current inform players. It is a lovely problem when you can have your 'player of the season' on the bench.

I like the look of that...but might start with RO'D wide left and have Harding start in the middle to ensure we command the midfield early doors

Agreed, but in a 4-5-1 formation, with Harding and Hornby holding and Luke behind Bayo

I wouldnt trust you as far as I could throw you, but I do think that will be our line up (same as Cheltenham at home). Would be surprised if he didnt go with the 2 out and out wingers, and Platt obviously isnt ready. The only question is does Langmead come in for Cameron? I think Aidy is strong enough to leave him out if thats what he thinks is best. Wouldnt have believed that would have been the general concensus 2 weeks ago...

So for our biggest game for 7 years, you're putting Collins in centre-mid? Where he has never played, not just for us, but in his ENTIRE CAREER? We really do have some clueless clowns as fans, don't we?

Why would you change a central defence that has helped keep 3 consecutive clean sheets? No room for sentiment, too big a prize at stake for that.

Nicholls Tozer Cameron Carlisle Collins Hornby Harding Hackett Gutteridge O'Donovan Bayo
Subs: Snedker, Langmead, Widdowson, Johnson, Demontagnac, Platt, Moult
This will be hard on Langmead and Widdowson both of whom have been excellent this season, but coming back from injury and with Cameron and Collins in such fine form its hard for Aidy to change a winning team.
Tozer is more reliable than Jonno at right back and Hornby's all round holding ability will be allow Gutteridge to get forward to support Bayo.
I would expect Langmead, Widdowson and Demontagnac to feature as subs at some point in the game.

I would feel happier if we played two up top, we do this at home and our record speaks for its self. Away from home we go the one up front route and I dont think I need to say more.
Please can we play this as we would a home game and actually believe we can win.

I think it will be the same line up as Cheltenham at home too. I will not be very impressed if we set up with the away formation at Cheltenham. That's a formation to avoid defeat, not to win (although we did, but how many times would a similar strike find the net?). We're not going for a point here, we have to win the game.
I wouldn't be too upset if Horby came in for Demontagnac but I can't see it happening. Then again, I have often tried to predict our starting lineup but AB seems to like throwing in the odd curveball now and again.

It has to be "B" Another big smile on my face. I always get the big decisions right.
Couldn't be happier, you can all blame me if it turns pear shaped. Up next year without a doubt and no need of the play-offs.

I wouldnt, and my point was that I dont think Aidy will either. Langmead looked a little rusty when he came on against Cheltenham, whereas Cameron is getting better. I'm sure Langmead will have a part to play on the day from the bench, either coming on as an extra man at the back to hang on for a win, or lumped up front to get another last minute goal.

This team, and going with a positive 'we're not playing away' mindset. Got to avoid negative play, there are goals to be had, Burton managed to smash 4 passed them.

Not as simple as that. We were absolutely shocking in the first leg where Burton scored 3 goals against us. That was probably the worse defensive performance I've ever seen this season.

In my opinion, Cameron has to start above Langmead because he has put 2 solid performances at the back for us and has built an understanding with Carlisle and we looked very solid at the back home and away. We should also start with the same team who played at home Vs Cheltenham as we dominated the game.
